Dook, I know they won't. I'll sign up as a contributor and hope they'll accept my images.
It doesn't hurt to try. 3

I just saw your post after I posted my previous one. That clears up things for me. Thanks. 6

Um..do I know what a witness is? That's funny. The reason I thought I could ask the agency to sign as a witness was because you suggested I go back with the parents and a witness, and I therefore thought I was wrong in my assumption that a witness is needed at the actual shoot, and surmised that perhaps a witness may be someone who was involved and could vouch for the agreement between the model ( or representative on behalf of the model) and the photographer. Well, going back wouldn't work out for a lot of reasons, we're located in different cities, asking four different parents to meet with me again just wouldn't happen, etc. Anyway, thanks for your advice. 7

Just thinking if the modeling agency can sign as witness. Does the witness signature have to be at the same time of the shoot? 8

Hi, I'm new to stock photography. I did photoshoots with kids and had their parents sign for them on the model release.
The model releases were a a copied generic version off the internet and I did not have any witnnesses sign as I didn't realize that most stock agencies nowadays want witness signatures on model releases. I know Alamy doesn't demand witness signatures on model releases, but are there other stock agencies were my model releases will be accepted? 9

Ariene, I'm wondering about that myself. I wanted to follow the thread, see answers, but when I checked back a few minutes later it was gone.
