I feel sick to my stomach.
The simple fact that a client can pay so little (10c) for an image through subscriptions sickens me.
Surely buyers can, and they will make use of the 'whole' allocation.
I need to process this. Cannot compute

Does anyone know what's current subscription minimal royalty for non-exclusives?
It will be 0.02 USD, but what is it now?
I think 25c for the lowest band? I stand to be corrected

Pros:
Grow your business by having everything linked - social media, website etc, and a trusted name. People like the authenticity of a personal name. It's also easier to remember.
Cons: For people who prefer anonymity and privacy, a pseudonym works for them, myself included. I do not care for social media and the likes or spending time trying to grow the business in those ways (website, postings etc). I simply want to shoot and upload and keep it separate from my day to day life.

Can't believe no one has this problem.
Browser and Flash are all updated but it still gives this problem.

Also happening for me. And Fotolia is ahead of SS for me too.

Good day all of you amazing MSG people.
For about a week, after signing in to Shutterstock Contributor (on desktop), the 'pop up' is a tiny window with content that is cut off, and I am unable to do any of the functions from within.
I'm wondering if this is a software issue? Flash?

How would a bot pick up info such as:
Logos/trademarks/artwork People without model releases
If there is a bot, maybe it screens through simple images without complex matters, to pick up technical errors only. And the images then get accepted, and the rest go through to actual humans

Same here. 50 - 75 % drop on SS compared to July ...
A big drop for me in September. Ever since they messed with the algorithm end of August

And there are plenty contributors who sell far more than that. If you're good enough at MS, you can outsource everything.
Personally, 1$ sounds too little, but it depends on where you live and what you are making.
Each to his own
Good luck OP

Actually, the people who can afford to outsource are earning far more than 0.30 over time
Selling each image hundreds or thousands of times = a lot of income per photo, for those contributors

My sales is a very sad state of affairs lately.
July and August were far better, and by this stage in August I had already made on DAY ONE what I have made in these 8 days of September so far.
Late August, and September have been atrocious.

Yes literally Thinkstock. Subs is there, but far less sales than the partner program brings me. Perhaps it is too early to have a true diagnosis for my images Thank you

I am pretty new to microstock, joined a few sites this year.
I have heard that the partner program should make around 10% of the income on IS, whilst IS downloads the other 90%. My experience is the opposite, and has been for months since I started.
Thoughts from veterans?
