Hello, I want to know when the file review will be normalized, since I have a couple that have been uploaded for 25 days. Thank you!

Hi Matt, thanks for the information. One question: Works that contain a combination of AI and 3d rendering should also be titled and tagged as AI?

Good aesthetic and visual judgment is still needed to get a decent image of the AI. They also show some inaccuracies that need to be retouched. In other words, work changes, but it does not disappear. And it will be a good tool to save time and money. I believe that new horizons are opening... Art is more a state of mind than a mere technical ability.

I already deleted most of my content and I already give this company for lost

I am glad that the contribution is interesting. I was just thinking about the possibility that we creators will be entitled to some profit for the use of our work. But I suppose there is a legal loophole about it.

The site https://haveibeentrained.com/ searches for photos and illustrations that were used to train AIs. I already found some of my illustrations.

Perhaps the larger agencies propose to buy all or part of the collections to sell as NFTs in the metaverses. The value of the works (in crypto) could increase over time, but the agencies are likely to keep those benefits.

It would be interesting to know what Marvel's artists think knowing that many of her colleagues are being paid a miserable price for their work.

They will continue to maintain their high budget and salaries. The only ones affected are the contributors

It hurts enough to see our work being sold for pennies. I already have one of 0.10 and another of 0.14. After so many years of work it is very sad. At any time I disable the sale of images from my account.

And the magic word "lawsuit"? ... massive lawsuit? and the much feared word "discrimination" so feared by companies in times of political correctness. Could it be possible to use any of that?
I'm not a lawyer, but I don't think, given the terms of our contributor agreement can be altered at any time to anything and without notice, there's any legal issue to bring up.
The slashing of earnings for every contributor isn't discrimination against any group, so I don't see how that applies
Illegal, discriminatory? Nope.
Despicable, shameless, greedy, heartless, disgusting? Yup.
In principle it is true that there is nothing illegal. But, the damage caused to thousands of independent workers, the reduction of their copyright earnings that affects an entire industry would be a matter to be analyzed. On the other hand, cultural damage is being inflicted on artistic production, which almost all countries supposedly protect, and artists are being discriminated against as a minor class of workers. Every company has a social responsibility, above its interests.

The next step for these agencies is to pay with "likes" on social networks

Yes marthamarks, I guess nothing works normally these days. It must be that. Thank you.

Thanks Bad Robot! My concern is simply because on the first days of the month the profit from the previous month appears subtracted on the contributor page, which has not happened this time.

My earnings have not yet been calculated on Shutterstock. Has anyone else happened?

It is a company that gives the impression that everything gives the same and do not mind too much selling or not

I would tell you with all due respect that you have to perfect your technique and improve the composition. Look carefully at the work of professional illustrators. With effort and dedication you can achieve a lot. Keep going and good luck!

Years ago I deleted my portfolio there for lack of sales. Recently they sent me an invitation for a kind of premium collection. I asked them about it and they never answered me. All said

Almost everyone earns better than most microstock contributors. It is a problem of creative activities. When they discover that you love what you do they think you are willing to do it for very little money.

Perhaps the market today is a bit saturated with images with this theme. I think in 3d the key is to look for originality. Offer things that photography can not offer. Photorealism is much appreciated and with 3d, you can realize ambitious production at a much lower cost.
Good luck!

I stopped uploading content several years ago, the policy of deleting files seemed to me very bad. It is impossible to build a portfolio in that way. And I do not see big commercial opportunities in DT

My earnings have not yet been deducted from Shutterstock.
Is it the same for someone else?
