Helo all,

I am mainly a photography guy but also interested in illustrator. I can create some designs with effects like drop shadow, blur and transparencies but all this creates problem when saving as EPS format. Some of the effects get resterised which is a problem to submit. But I see many vector designs in micro stock with a lot of effects.

So there should be trick to use all these effects. I know there is something I am missing. Can any of u help me to overcome these problems?

thanx in advance.

Yeah 123rf changed stuff on their website.
There is a new program update which can fix it.
If you have any more problems please send reports from the error window.

thanx, i ll update tonight.

I noticed that 123RF didn't accept my authentication this morning - that happens when they change something on their site, but the developer is very quick at fixing those sort of issues. Normally, the next time you start the application it will download one or more updated files and things are fixed.

With iStock, are you logged in with the new ESP user ID? The new vocabulary comes from there.

Ah! you are right! thanx for reminding :)

Lol if you gonna do this as a full time job you have to earn that money otherwise its not more than a hobby.

i use captureone for shooting and exporting raws, i do all my edits in PS .

May be i should switch to LR but i dont want to use both Capture1 and LR.  LR's tether properties are poor according to Capture1.

Does LR embed the keywords in the files?

Newbie Discussion / What is your workflow
« on: March 05, 2017, 06:01 »
Hi all,

i wonder what is your workflow for multiple stock agencies?

its easy to keyword and upload when its just one agency but once you try to do it for multiple agencies it gets complicated. e.g. some only accept jpeg files and some accepts higher res TIFFs. i used Deep Meta previously for istock for uploading and keywording. Now i am checking stocksubmitter and i understand that i need the PC version for istock and Alamy uploads.
i am not sure but i think Stocksubmitter is like deepmeta, i mean it doesnt embed the keywords in to the original file. and this could be a real problem in the future e.g. u wanted to upload to a new agency and you have to keyword all files again. U may also quit using this program and move to another so if the program doesnt embed the keywords it will all be gone.

I found out that you can embed keywords in PS but its not as fast as other keywording tools and it makes the workflow more complicated.

So as i said in the beginning it will be helpful to hear from you that are much more experienced.

thanx in advance,
Oz.

123RF / 123RF image size chart
« on: March 04, 2017, 04:24 »
Hi all,

i am new to stock photography and decided to go for 123RF also.

i understand that i get credits according to image size.

i couldnt find a size chart saying which dimensions equal to given image size labels like S, XL, XXL etc
i also dont know what exactly 100, 200, 300mb TIFF refers to?
for a given dimension if i upload a file in 8bits it can be 50mb and for 16 bits it can be 100mb.
i can save it with layers and it adds up in file size.

couldnt understand what they refer to MBs in terms of image size?
