For me August turned out t be a strange month. No sales for first three weeks then 5 sales on the fourth week. In the end I am still stuck in the 2-6 sales range but now with only 50% of the what I earned before. I would like to know others experience.

For some reason POND5 is really quiet. Never seen it like this...
Same here, Until April it was extremely good, May was ok, but since June, sales has become extremely rare there. From 12-18 sales per month I am stuck with 3-4 sales now. Same is the case with SS as well.

Got one such sale last month, made me angry as the clip sold is very valuable and one of the most important ones in my portfolio. If such sales continue then I will have to pull my portfolio as well, even though I have not even uploaded all of it on SS yet anyways.

I have about 15 or so missing too. When asked, I was told that some clips that may be considered "sensitive" get hidden on the customer side.
I'm guessing until SB decides how to handle these clips, they will never see the light of day.
In my case they are not even sensitive or any such thing. They are just animated abstract video backgrounds and their other variations are already online.

I have 1591 clips in my portfolio on Storyblocks, all are approved and visible to me when I am logged in as the contributor but when I check my portfolio as a random user, I can only see 1547 clips making 44 of my clips completely invisible. I even tried searching some of them with exact title but none of these 44 show up. Customer support has told me this looks like a publishing error and that they have forwarded my concern to their web team, but I am still waiting for it be fixed.
Has anyone of you had this issue on Videoblocks/Storyblocks ?

All you need to do is provide an "Black and White Alpha Map" of your clip. This will double the length of your clip without increasing the size too much but it will give your customer an option to remove the background if he/she wants to. And you can render the clip in any format that you normally use without caring about alpha channel or transparency.

I agree with Brightontl I just had another refund, this time an HD sale. This is my 3rd refund since yesterday. 4 sales, 3 refunds. These last 2 days have become a roller coaster ride on Storyblocks.
I also emailed Storyblocks regarding previous two 4K sales and their reply was a typical copy pasted answer saying that the sale was fraudulent etc. Very disappointing.

If you edited your payment information (even phone number) then until they verify the new information, your finance page will show 30% tax withheld. Happened to me once after I changed my mobile number.

I have had only a handful of 4K Sales on Videoblocks (Storyblocks) in last 2 years but all of them ended up being refunded. Just yesterday I had two 4K sales both of which got refunded in just 3 minutes. Many other contributers seem to be complaining about the same. Have you ever had a 4K sale there that did not get refunded?
Should I stop uploading 4K clips there?

Just had two 4K sales on Storyblocks yesterday, both got refunded in three minutes. Never had a 4k sale on there that did not get refunded.
