Adobe Stock / Re: Is Adobe Killing Fotolia
« on: November 05, 2017, 06:57 »
I for one wish I could just have stayed with Ft since I had ten times more sales then before this merger with Adobe. I recon I know why. Two week back I suggested to an AD at an ad-agency to look for four of my shots at Adobe and he said " adobe? ??? why? its a programming company"!
I dont think its sunk in that they are also dabbling in stock?

Sounds like that art director isn't keeping up with Adobe products. Anybody who uses the creative suite should know that images are integrated in from the apps.

I am fan of Adobe and its creative cloud suite but I hate what it's doing with Fotolia...

Fotolia already is a well-established stock photo agency and it's among the top ones I really don't understand why they are trying to stop or remove it

I understand that your account has problems, but once those are sorted out I think you'll see that Fotolia is still fully functional - I upload via Adobe Stock and check all my stats via Fotolia (because it has more to offer at the moment on the contributor side of things).

You can't always tell, but as many of the royalty amounts are different via the different sites, I know I'm still getting sales via Fotolia as well as via Adobe Stock. You'll see Adobe/Fotolia is the number two site on the list on the right - and that's true for me and at similar ratios. I only see the captcha on my mobile device.

Perhaps Mat Hayward can help you get your account migration problems sorted out - he has an account here and you could send him a message.

Hi Jo Anna, luckily my problem got fixed they created new account instead of syncing my old fotolia account that's why couldn't find my files there,  and I hope it will work as fotolia one.

Adobe Stock / Re: The reCaptcha is stuck on FT

I have problems with the captcha, but it is google hosted.

the solution I found is to wait longer (liek 10 seconds after the captcha appears), sometimes it takes time to do the second stage of the captcha (selecting an image). if you do not wait for the second stage, the captcha does not work. sometimes it works without the second stage, sometimes you have to wait.

There are many other sites which uses the same reCaptcha and I have no problem with them at all and I feel adobe don't want us to use fotolia anymore and put an annoying reChaptcha with highest difficulty level And I strongly believe it's not acceptable

Hi recently I've tried to sync mine with adobe but I think I screwed up everything and fotolia support asked me to contact Adobe to fix the problem and I contacted them but no response whatsoever.

I would like to know anyone faced the same problem migrating to Adobe Stock,

and one more thing I am not complaining but I don't understand why Adobe is pushing Fotolia to an end, with a super annoying reCaptcha and with almost no sales at all while other agencies are working fine, is there any difference between Adobe Stock and Fotolia

Thanks
