SS is close to dead.
:(
Occasional subs only.

It pretty much is. I wouldn't mind so much about only subs if they were only consistent or increasing as our ports grow. It's the decline of sales day by day is what's concerning.

You're not alone. I've been saying this on forums that my sales also started descreasing since April last year. And near the end of the year, there were a lot of posts claiming sales have dropped for them too. I don't think our portfolios are the problem, I mean, they were doing fine for years.

How did Fridays become like Saturdays and Sundays now? Usually they were like any other working week day.

General Stock Discussion / Re: November Sales

ss is earning money..simply put there are more and more files and more nd more desperate contributors especially coming from russia and ukraine who upload zillions of files and the cake is simply spread...zero entry barrier and low cost make this possible.  micro apart one rare case i'd  say 100 200 big contributor will be just an hobby for all the rest.

Don't forget India...  ::) Have you been to SS forum lately? Not too long ago it was crowded with new threads by new Indian contributors asking how to get sales.

SS site can not be reached for buyers at the moment?

Edit: Nevermind, it's accessible now.

The heydays of Jon are long gone, the once so helpful and knowledgable Admin is replaced by suits and city-twatts knowing absolutely nothing about the creative world and even less about photography!but they are under the severe preassure of constantlly having to produce results for their shareholders no matter what.

I feel, they don't experience the loss that contributors are going through. Or they don't care. Or both.

The app keeps crashing, anyone else seeing this?

Yup, I even deleted and redownloaded the contributor app. Still can't be opened.

Yes, October was good but November has been slow so far.

December is usually crap in terms of sales too.

For me the decline started around April. And it has gotten worse ever since. I still hope they get better again.

Such a joke now. I thought it was starting to pick up but it seems now and again SS keeps slamming itself to the floor.

So, have the buyers migrated to Adobe or is it 'just' supply outstripping demand, or ... ?

My impression is that there was some search change. The drop started suddenly this month, and may have finished on the 27th - seem to have had a few days of normal sales. Looks like August will finish at about 50% of a regular month.

Whoa, this is exactly what happened to me. For the 27th-29th sales were getting better. But then it dropped again on the 30th. I'm guessing due to another technichal issue that happened late on the 29th.

Sorry about that kelomang. Can I see you portfolio ?

Sent you a PM

Same. Around 40% drop from the usual. August has been the worst month in the last 4 years. If many are experiencing this, then who's to blame?

15
Sales were dropping since April but this August sales just nosedived with around 40% decrease and it has been the worst month in the last 3-4 years. I don't know what's causing this and it's concerning.

Something is still not working." My sells". By noon I normally have a couple dozen sale.  I have one sale . I guess it is down somewhere still.

Same. Worst Monday in years. I'm hoping it picks up in the upcoming days.

The second pic seems to had been uploaded on both sites by the same user and around the same time (3 months ago). Only difference is the underscore in the contributors' names.

But the first pic was uploaded by two totally different names (Katemangostar on FP and Redlinevector on 123RF). I can't tell if they're the same person / people.
Katemangostar's success story is highlighted as a top contributor on FP though:

https://www.freepik.com/blog/success-story-katemangostar/

Edit: Just found that Redlinevector is also using the same name on 123RF as on SS, Behance, Fotolia, Graphicriver, etc. Don't know why they would use a different name just on FP if they are even the same person / people.
