Hi folks

I have also received that email, and I felt really bad. I also do not use their storage service, only the distribution bandwidth. So paying for the storage is not an appealing option to me, more so, when I convert US$ to my native currency. I think they could have easily kept it free, I mean the distribution part.
The service was not great, but it was convenient at least, as my upload bandwidth is not that great. I did not mind waiting for some time before the images were distributed, the only problem was with auto submission. For example, at least for me, auto submission did not work for BS or CanStockPhoto properly. For my last batch, CanStockPhoto did not work at all.

Now what about their software "ProStockMaster"? Can we keep using it for free? Though it seems to work in relation to the account that is maintained at LightBurner. So if those free accounts are deleted, PSM will also stop working. Any ideas?

I remember one paid service like this, iSyndica (most probably it was the name)- that could also not survive with paid plans, so let's see what happens with LB.

Now, what other free solution is left to us now? Any ideas please?

Seems pretty straight forward, you have to ask your model to sign a release.

First I posted to Microstock group, and then I remembered that SS also has a forum where I can discuss things. So I posted here too. I could delete the MSG post, but I thought that those who are not the members of SS can post there but not here.

Now to the main issue. Could you please provide me some guidance regarding PP of Landscape shots? I have searched Google, but could not find anything suitable for my specific need.
I must admit that though I have been photographing for quite a long time, I started using a D-SLR only very recently. So I am still a novice when it comes to PP. So it would be really helpful for me if you could suggest me some PP techniques to improve these shots.

Unfortunately I am facing the following problems:

1. Crestock and Cutcaster do not work. It can not save the login info though i can log in to both the sites individually.

2. As I upload to the /upload directory in remote site, I can not see the photos in "my portfolio" section immediately. How long does it take to process the photos and appear?

3. This is very important: I tried 5 test upload to Alamy. In the information of the respective photographs, I see that the photos are mentioned as of 72dpi whereas originally these are 300dpi images. Does LB automatically downsizes the dpi? And if yes, how can I prevent it from doing so? Please note that I do not have the resize option enabled under channel preference.

4. Using FileZilla (OS XP) I uploaded 5 photos, but I can see only 3 under "Assets". The other two are listed in the remote directory but not appearing under "Assets" in my LB portfolio. I waited for about 20 minutes.

5. In FileZilla I am getting a warning related to "Unknown Host Key". What is it? Should I worry about it?
