The month is not yet ended, and I have over 100 sales of footage at price 0.25 USD. What have I done wrong ?
You didn't deleted your SS potfolio. That's what you did wrong.

Alijaber, read the FAQ: Selling or gifting the code is not permitted.
My Adobe Stock account is different from the one I use for Adobe Cloud because I had a different email on fotolia and when Adobe bought it they just created a new account with that email. Would there be any problem if a log with my Adobe Cloud account to redeem the code instead of the one from Adobe Stock. It's the same name and address on both.

This is where most of fiverr money comes from. It's not only photos they allow music, video and templates piracy too. It's also happening on gumroad but on fiverr it's blatant.

I will not boycot SS.
We are hitting a global economic crisis, worse than the Great Depression.
I accept, that the value of my images may drop to 10 cents.
Right now my earnings did not change. I am level 5.
Maybe your work is worth $0.10 but real illustrators and real photographers work is worth more. I'm sure buyers don't pay subscriptions to get content that it's not worth more than $0.10. When real illustrators and photographers leave SS so will the costumers.

slow but...
Videos and vectors still go up, is it mass uploaders like Blackbox or similar or what?
I don't know about vectors but video was already getting 30% commission. You can get to level 3 with only 51 downloads and to level 4 with 251. It's not affected yet. But it will when customers start getting the new $9 per video subscriptions. Uploads will go down eventually.

I haven't had any video sales on June though. But since April I started having a lot lower RPD from videos.

The key is to do it as a group. Join forces with the stockcoalition.org for example and get all the people that is deleting their portfolios from SS and make a stock site where all contributors get shares. Like a Cooperative so all the revenue goes to contributors.

I thought you were creating a new stock site. Why don't you do that instead?
Why dont you?
It's not something I can do on my own. If you are already organized you could do it as a group. A site made by contributors could be the solution to stop stock sites from reducing comissions.

And for anyone that thinks deleting their images is useless this is what most of the pictures on SS look like. Most of the database is just garbage they accepted to make it look big. If we can delete around 10 million of quality pictures it will really hurt SS in the long run. Buyers will stop getting subscription if they can't find anything usable.

For anyone worried about not getting payed if they close their account this is on SS Q&A.

I have an idea. If you still have your pictures online on SS go to your catalog manager and change the title of your photos to something like Don't buy from Shutterstock, Shutterstock is Stealing from Artists or something similar so buyers can see it.

I'm tempted to upload some images to unsplash an other free sites but leaving them on SS. Then track down people that have bought the image on SS and tell them hey do you know SS is charging you for free content.
I'm sure Pete Wright wouldn't be very happy about some turds licensing his free content.

I'm deleting my images. My top 3 have 3329, 1411 and 1001 downloads. The second one is my best seller in AS. I haven't had video sales in June yet so I want to see how bad is for video before deleting them but it doesn't look good. They're introducing a $9 per video subscription.

I uploaded some editorial videos that I was not going to use at all. It usually takes up to 5 days to review. They reviewed them the same day. That means people really have stopped uploading to SS. They rejected almost everything for reasons that don't make sense . Lesson learned should've stopped uploading too. Not uploading anymore.

It seems they've been scamming customers too. No wonder Jon Oringer jumped ship, it's going to sink faster than the Titanic.

They should've kept the prices but lower the image downloads. From 750 and 350 images/mo to 600 and 250 images/mo or 500 and 200 images/mo even.

The way to hurt them is to contact design agencies and ask them to stop using shutterstock. Tell every designer you know.
Also pressure companies that have partnerships with them. These are a few that are listed on shutterstock website.
