Photography Equipment / Re: Canon-EOS-M50 vs iPhone???
« on: September 07, 2020, 14:38 »
Hello Mrblues,
i was reading here about the Canon Camera, maybe it will help you also as well:
https://www.fotospring.de/canon-kamera-test/
Let me know your thoughts about this.
Regards

So, im artis illustrator and im looking for good camera for non-MS related project (video marketing project).

So, sadly; i dont know anything about taking photos or recording

The recomendation i get is to buy a Canon-EOS-M50 because it is the camera that brokes with the amateur quality of pics/video, and anything better that this one will be a high jump on price (as the one who recomend me this camera told me).

The problem is that i can see iPhone and other Hi-Tech mobiles taking amazing quality videos and pics.

It is worth buying this camera?

Lighting / Re: Fixed light solution
« on: July 15, 2020, 16:10 »
Dear both

Working with light is definitely tricky and not easy by any means. I also build my own Photoshoot stage for products, I had to shoot and used white paper and so forth, but I found the trickiest part where the light bulbs or light tubes coming from the ceiling. The lighting was unnatural, and it was not easy to fix it.
I used all the tricks using the SW incl. Photoshop. I would invest in some equipment and have a  hassle-free photo shooting, especially for small products.  A light box is a very good investment, they are not that expensive but there are different ones for every need. Amazon has some good ones from $20 - 40 and up :)

Regards and happy shopping

Hi Everyone

Reading this it appears there are a lot of issues regarding copyright and licensing, guess you got to be smart who to give out your work to. Its a shark tank out there.

I didn't know that the Drop Shipping Method is coming into fashion here as well, this seems to be something to look into, I agree. Where do you start is there a good address anyone knows of?

Sincere regards

Hi there

In any case I feel that there are some monotones and do think variety is key. Also, maybe a good tip along the way, the world changes with it fashion and design and therefore also Images. Be in the loop on the changes and adapt these on your photos. Hope that helps and maybe try doing something new and creative to pep-up your portfolio? Sometimes putting in too many thoughts and overthinking pulls out the creativity.

Hi Everyone

I am new here so maybe this is an unintelligent question but can anyone explain what the advantage is using the Microstock Analytics Program in comparison to other Analytic Program Tools?

Thank you and regards

Photography Equipment / Re: best paint for photo studio ?
« on: July 15, 2020, 15:04 »
Hi Everyone

Guess it depends on what your using it for. I can only speak out of experience in the eCommerce Industry and there they use to have a subtle and discreet Grey and newly everything is done with White Background. There are always options to put some contrast in. With White your putting the image into the center of attention and giving it more definition. If that makes any sense? :)

Sincerely

Dear All

These are really great information, thanks a bunch for that. I also keep hearing that investing in a MAC makes more sense but then I do understand that due to switching over from Windows OS isnt that easy due to compatible issues with the existing SW.

Since were at this topic, I was wondering, which of the MAC Models would be best for 3D and Photo Touch-ups. I didn't get a Model in specific in the whole discussion thread.

I know that the Graphic Card, SSD, RAM, Storage Space and that you definitely at least need an 17" for 3D Modeling.

Thank you so much for your efforts and sincerely

Cameras / Lenses / Re: iPhone 11
« on: July 15, 2020, 12:03 »
Hi Everyone

This has been an interesting conversation thread to read, indeed cameras vs. smartphones :)
Well it is kind of hard in comparing the two and speaking of lenses, I wanted a tip from the professionals, and it seems like there are experienced photographers here 8)

I am looking for a camera that shoots photos as a mirror from the eye. Because I find that even though the settings are amended if camera or smartphone it tends to not look the same as if I where looking at the image. Especially making landscape or nature photos. I suppose that a good lens with a wide zoom effect in distance but also a camera with certain features is to be looked out for. So, what are the experts suggestions here?

Thank you in advance and sincerely

Dear Uncle Pete and Georgep7

Thank you for sharing :). These are quite interesting topics and to be honest didn't, know that there where Online Sales for Photos and that this was a lucrative business. What are the credentials to be able to make it besides creativity and a good feel of what people are looking for?
For instance, do I need to be a Photographer holding a Diploma or Certificate or can I just be a Hobby Photographer and still be able to make it in this business?

Thank you for your reply and sincerely
