You do have to laugh....I can understand when they tell you they don't want your image because it does not have a commercial value to them, but when they tell you it has technical issues when its already accepted and sold elsewhere....... its a joke.
If you are already planning on upgrading from the 1000d then it would maybe be more sensible to wait until you have the money to buy a 550d or similar. The 1000d is an adequate if very basic camera, you will get more use out of the 550d or you could consider the Nikon d3100 or d5100 both very good cameras, if you want to be a bit different theres always the Sony A55 it depends in the end how much you want to spend.
I always think buying cheap with the intention of upgrading isn't very sensible financially.
I'm new to this business but seem to be getting quite a few views to the small portfolio I have so far uploaded to Fotolia. Didn't know about the keywording though that was very helpful. Thanks
The review times have gone a bit stupid, I uploaded images on 28th June and they are still pending, don't know if this is normal but its sure slower than anywhere else....
I find canstock excellent for review times unlike 123rf and crestock. I uploaded images to canstock yesterday and they were reviewed almost immediately, when I uploaded to 123rf I noticed that my uploads from 10 days ago are still pending...maybe they are busier than canstock?
