Interesting and nice but a bit low, because its a one-time payment per image and only if downloaded too, i calculated 0.05 USD  :o per image.
That means, in the worst case, endless similar copies of my images for only 0.05 USD :) And next year, it is (the data) used again in Firefly, but for 0.00USD :)
But still better than SS oder 123rf or all the others. Long life Adobe Stock  :D

Adobe Stock / Re: Account blocked - I need help please
« on: September 07, 2023, 05:38 »
Just to keep you all up to date:

My account (which was blocked for 8 days) was reactivated late last Thursday evening - 19 images were removed that contained an illegal term/trademark - Thanks again for helping me out here @Mat/Adobe.

Since the account has been reactivated, I have noticed a massive drop in downloads - from an average of 23 per working day (yes, that's not soooo many for some of you) to now 8 per working day on average, a drop to about 35%.

Almost all my images that were doing well before the account are now not selling at all - only one image from my Top20 list had two sales today.

The question I'm asking myself now is: Will the account block also expose you to further mechanisms afterwards that will throw you completely back to the end of the queue (or close to it) in the ranking?
Because before the 8-day block, the account was doing increasingly better.

Thanks for all the info...This is the time for me on the review of AI images
Adobe...15 days and counting

Not sure who else excepts AI.....

I can beat that
Adobe... 32 days
Indivstock... 44 days

..
You can have a directly negative attitude or give them a little time to get things right.
They are clearly overworked on many issues at the moment, so personally I am ready to wait a few weeks before going into attack mode.
...

"Maybe u get paid, but maybe not and maybe only 1 cent per hour. "
Btw your job is to train a robot that will replace you.  :P
No hate here, i love AS. That's also the reason why I'm a little upset.

10
Maybe Adobe could put out a statement that they are obviously tracking all data used during beta and will add compensation when everything goes live?
...
Any percentage of 0$ (which is how much they charge generative fill at this stage) is also 0. So we'll get nothing in all likelihood. Therefore, I still think it's in our best interest to petition Adobe to remove generative fill until compensation has been resolved.
one-time-payment only for sure
0.00004 USD per image   :)
Here is your 1 USD for your portfolio, we will delete your account , because now we can generate endless variations of your photos per click.
Hope iam wrong and just pessimistic

I'm having my second best month of the year on Shutterstock with a mix of low and higher commissions on videos and download numbers overall are pretty good. So take heart that your poor month is probably temporary because I've had some very slow periods during this year when others are reporting all is peachy. Appears that internal 'adjustments' will impact different ports either negatively or positively.
:o
The comissions are NOT cut "temporary" from 0.38 to 0.10.

Stock photography is coming to an end has been the most consistent topic on this forum for the last 15 years. And yet, here we are.

That and how you can't make money in microstock any more. My stock earnings since 2006:

looks nice if.. , what grid numbers are here missing? in 10 or 100 USD steps?

AI images all look great at a small thumbnail size BUT 90% unacceptable even at 2000px.
Blurred, out of focus, strange image details..
And most of the ones I've seen so far have been upscaled to 5000+ pixels.
Customer refunds foreseeable?

Also found the information about this during the upload if you mark your images as AI, "Most common rejection reason for AI-generated images ...an image that is 1000 pixels long should not be scaled up to 8000 pixels..." (Indivstock)

« on: June 13, 2023, 07:23 »
English is not my language but, "How well he sells",
"he sells"? sounds so wrong.
Totally triggers me when I see the title. Quite apart from the fact that SS has cut the commissions so much that it looks like troll posting to me, I personally have about -80% and I've been boycotting the platform by not uploading anything anymore.

Panthermedia.net / Panthermedia AI datasets
« on: June 12, 2023, 10:58 »
long email from panthermedia,
summary: AI datasets - You can opt out.
I will opt out if i find the button finaly, even SS and AS and midjourney and .. used my data anyway already. LOL RIP (not funny  :'( ).

"...
When selling datasets, we distribute 35% of the sale price per dataset to you according to your share of images in each dataset. Example: The dataset contains 50 dog images. Of these, 10 are yours. So you will receive 20% of the total photographer commission for this dataset.
... "

sale price?
By the way.. panthermedia 1996 contributor frontend is so weird (cant even close a pop-up window).
Edit: email content translated to english

Mat, can you please conform that the "checkbox" on the left with the blue color means an image IS  nominated and the one without the color means it is NOT nominted?

Because last year a lot of my images that I am absolutely sure I did not nominate ended up in the free collection, so this year I want to rule out any mistaked on my side.

I'm not Mat but BLUE is nominated. I clicked all and they all turned from grey to blue. Now I'm selecting the individual that I will not nominate. You can see them one by one by checking Eligible For Free Collection.

They can be sorted by number of downloads or date.
did you photoshoped the buttons together or do you have 2 buttons visible?
2 buttons for an image would be weird. blue = nominate

got 120 USD, this means the SS AI is now or soon able to re-produce my 20k-portfolio ( ? )
and that means at the end i sold my portfolio for 120 USD to SS. looool, sad  :'(

*edit: Im opted out of data deals too

seeing all these images next to each other, you quickly realize that these are not real people. I consider a maximum of 1% to be "buyable" and usable. AS should really select much more strictly. As a customer, I am annoyed by the other 99% because I have to scroll through them.

In the last 12 months with over 20k images online and around 2000 downloads per month each at SS and AS:

Adobestock + 500% (mostly 0.38 or 0.99 and >3.3EUR)
SS - 80% (actually only subscription sales, 0.10$ or 0.14$ commission and number of downloads -40% in the last months too).

Have to say, i dont upload to SS anymore since mid of last year, subscription sales of 0.10$ as regular commission is far too low.
long live AS, SS can go offline :)

.."March 3rd, 2023 we will consolidate the different currencies in which royalties are paid and switch to US Dollars."..

Bad for me ,previously received euros, about -5% cut. Well great, not.
