I have a port of around 70 images on there from a year ago and have gotten around 10 sales in total so far. I just recently threw a few more in my port as it's a nice change from the regular stock stuff to work on. I wish you much success over there!

WTH (What The H*ck?) iStock has always had room for people who make inexplicable, unclassifiable or just downright bizarre things. This is the prize for all of those head-scratchers. Does Istock really have room for this kind of category or is this the category for the drivvel we find featured on http://www.badstockart.com/?

My dash for cash earnings were added to my earnings as well...thanks Veer! Veer is my #3 earner now ahead of Dreamstime.

I made a few hundred in their Dash for Cash program and am now also enjoying sales at decent prices from those submissions. I like Veer.

I had a few sales over the summer from my meager port. Reminds me to submit more again there soon.

I believe he received the highest number of votes in a recent across Canada poll as to who was the greatest Canadian. I well remember the Marathon of Hope back in my early teenage years. He's a true inspiration.

I've been using Dynamic HDR for almost 3 years now and quite like it; good value for the money. My top seller at Istock was made using this program. I like the adjustments; both manual and automatic and the ability to make a natural looking image that still gets accepted by Microstock agencies.

My last batch of 100 that was inspected got only one rejection, so I too have noticed an increase on acceptance ratios (got only 50% on my last batch of 100).

Im from Canada (British Columbia) and used to drive truck deep into the American south. Some people down there assumed I either somehow drove from England or from somewhere in South America.

For some reason lately about half of the images that I submit get the "needs work" button due to a lack of color profile. I find this strange as I always export JPEGs for uploading from Lightroom and in an SRGB colorspace. I'll try Adobe 1998 and see if that makes a difference.

Most of my shots are with tamron 17-50 2.8 great lens That's what Im using right now as my main lens (Minolta mount) . If I limited myself to one lens I'd either go back to my Sigma 17-70mm (a very versatile lens) or get the Zeiss 16-80mm.

Oh I should also add that you can upload more than your limit of 100 and have them sitting in the "new" section of your workspace. That way when the week is up, you can submit the images that you already have uploaded and waiting in the wings.

Yes that was my findings as well leaf. It seems to be exactly 7 days from your given block of uploaded images.

always tougher to have sales over weekends but I'm doing it with just over 300 images. All depends on your port really

Maybe its just a fluke I dont know but my acceptance ratio here historically has been pretty good. 319 images online and 126 rejected. For me that's fairly consistent with SS and DT.

Since moving to Windows 7 last fall I haven't been unable to upload anything to Veer through FTP or any programs. I've had to move my images on flash drive to my Vista laptop and then upload, which is too much hassle.

Congrats on the newspaper gig. Tulips are just beginning to pop out here in South-western Canada. We have a tulip festival out here too with a decent mountain backdrop that has given me a bit of stock material but everybody does tulip shots, so they're difficult to get accepted, let alone make any decent sales

Coppermine is tricky to set up. There are also a couple of Jalbum skins that support image downloads and shopping carts, but in the end I went with Zenfolio and got the pro account.

I used to have a Fuji S9100 (9MP version) and never would have suspected that I could have taken pictures like that with it. I eventually ditched that camera on Ebay since I never really cared for it.

I've used this software for a couple years and really like it. Like any other HDR software you have to go easy on the effects of it wont get accepted.

Wow $19.00 for 4600 images. That works out to just under 2 1/2 cents per image!

I have a collection of accident shots on my facebook page. I drive truck for a living so I see my share. Most arent stocky-worthy but a few of them have made it into stock ports. I prefer shooting the more bizarre kinds of accidents.
