Well let me start: Newtek SpeedEdit, Sony Vegas, Adobe Premier, Avid.. All of these software packages a capable of 1080p editing. My favorite is SpeedEdit.
MTS video files are AVCHD codec file types. And if you install codec on your PC every software will read it correctly. But if you want to be absolutely sure Sony Vegas Pro will open it for sure. Btw what camera produced such format? Is it some kind of Samsung camera?

There is no secret about this kind of lightning. Just look at Crestok -Yuri YouTube channel and you will get all answers. Lot of ProFoto softboxes. And off course lot of color post processing witch isn't in fact very much of work when you made your own workflow.

I just bought THE dream video lens for the 5D II. It's the 50-300/4.5 ED AIS from Nikon. If it is as good as it's reputation - look out high definition landscape videography. I am carefully expanding my collection of exceptional manual focus glass since that gets around the problem of not being able to choose the aperture when filming with the 5DII. The video AF of the 5D is useless since it is not continuous - you have to press the "AF now" button to engage it. Smooth manual focus should take care of it. Still waiting for my acceptance to IS videographer.
Witch adapter do you use and this Nikon lens does it has some manual aperture switch or something on it? Thanks

Not sure about that. I didn't cross 30 000 $ per 3 month period. I also have enabled all of this and withdrawal limit for me is 30536.00$. It seams that withdrawal limit and personal account limit are two different things but you never know with MB. I think that they have some per month limit because I have one month very high withdrawal and after that they change this. But when you add 3 month before or 3 month after I didn't cross withdrawal limit. So I can't say what is the limit. Somewhere between 0$ and widrawal limit

I have to pop up this tread because of Moneybookers update I have and to inform you.
I can't copy-paste mail because on the copy right statment at the end of the MB mail but in short they said: " I reached limit for personal account and they automatically convert it to the business account and by that means that fee is applied to the account as per 3.8. of our Terms and conditions."
So that means when one of us reach limit (I don't know how high is that limit) they will convert account to the business and applied "receive money fee" on it.
That is update for all of us. So I think for me Payoneer is best option and probably for everyone who reach some virtual limit they have.

I am suggesting convert video in any program to the QT with Photo-JPEG compression. On Window use After FX, Premier, Vegas or similar program and on MAC use After FX, FC or similar. Use Photo JPEG compression with at least 95% quality. Dario
PS: My 5D MkII is shipped today. I am soooooooooooo Excited!!!! AC-Foto Germany rulez!!!

Are shoes with checkerboard pattern? Copyright on such patterns and similar ones owns Vans company. Zazzle store reject my order to make shoes for me with my own checkerboard pattern because of Vans copyright. I changed colors but they said: "Vans has copyright on all colors" !

This Terms&Conditions are the same for all accounts no mater basic, company or other. Every commercial payment goes under these rules. They answered me that after I mail them. I am still waiting for the answer: why me and not others? Right now I have company profile because of problem (MB problem) with withdrawal name on my local bank account but it was the same when I have the normal basic account. So before they convert my account to the company (witch I really don't need) was the same issue. I am waiting for their response. Until then, anybody has the same problem?

Please, can someone give me some more information about this moneybookers issue I have. They charge me "receiving money fee" for every money I receive from stock agencies. I contact them and the send me a link on the new Terms&Conditions ( http://www.moneybookers.com/app/help.pl?s=terms). And under 3.8 paragraph it sais: "3.8. Moneybookers reserves the right in its own discretion to charge a fee for receiving money if a customer is using the account for commercial purposes. " Because stock agency payment is commercial payment they charge me. My question to all of you. Do you have similar experience and do they charge you or not for this? Thank you Dario

MB take cca 2% of every money I receive!!! I don't know why but they did that every time - on every transaction.

I, am sorry but I have to correct both of you. You forgot INPUT FEE (Receive Money Fee ) for every income on MB. Have you ever look to your transaction list on MB? They are taking your money even before you get it. It is % of your money. And after that what about local bank fee (borg you mention that) witch you pay for every MB transaction including second exchange rate in your money flaw (from $ to to local currency but only one in Payoneer case from $ to local, Perrush mention this problem). So when you put ALL together - much smaller fee on Payoneer. But, off course, everybody choose what they want. (Even if it is not good for them ) Dario Btw, Peter my monthly fee on Payoneer is 1$. Why you have to pay 3$?

useless pretty much. you got to have their Master Card, and cashing in other country than US draws some aditional fees.... and if you dont use that card for 60 days, they close your account. moneybookers is still best solution.
This is not really a true. I really hate when Peter comment something and he didn't think about it Fees are smaller than monybookers and I am from Croatia so monybookers is only solution for me also. I am receiving payments via Istock Payoneer and money is faster in your hands with smaller fee than moneybookers. Using card means also inserting in ATM machine, entering pin and doing nothing. I check this with local ATM provider. It is register as transaction. I also use this in the beginning when I didn't have regular payouts. So 60 days is no problem. And I asked, yes you can have one card for all agencies that means less fee. When you registering via DT you have small link on the Payoneer web site on top right corner for ones who already have card. Dario

Some of you are nuts...she's 14 and probably doesn't have a clue how to use a camera properly yet - and you want to get pro-version glass for a 14 yr old?
75-200 or whatever they have now is fine. Learn to shoot first, buy the good stuff when it makes sense.
I will probably agree with you, but I saw kids witch are more talented than all of us together. Specially in video witch is my domain you can find kids witch are so talented it is really bad thing that they don't have better equipment. And I am talking 10-16 years old kids. EricN didn't mention is she like to learn photography or she is talented kid. But probably all of us thinking about second option. Witch can be some professional deformation for us

Telezoom or prime? I can easily recommend the 70-200/2.8 non-IS i think you still can buy it new for about 65% of the price of the IS-Version. It's optically superior than the IS. It's one of my best lenses (and i have plenty ).
70-200/2.8 is very heavy lens. For 14 year old kid 70-200/4 is better lens with Image stabilization of 4th generation. So I am suggesting this lens.

Hm, so what that means? Am I wrong then? But Jupiter Images are owner of estoskmusic.com and clipart.com for example. Are you suggesting that they didn't buy StockXpert?

« on: December 06, 2008, 13:26 »
Lagereek, Getty want to enter to the music business so this is start and beginning and specially in mass RF witch they missed (you probably don't know but Getty is very much in music industry all ready and they want more). Off course all other parts like images, cliparts etc. will be more % in their business. But I don't think that they will change much. Probably like Zeus said they will convert StockXpert customers to IS but this is very slow process (so they are not destroying anything, for them ). Well in fact, as for the management they are not in Visual-industry, they are in stock market industry. Who knows what we can see in the future. Everything witch can be sell trough RF and RM or similar license they are interested in. Some think that they have to make company for selling blueprints as RM or maybe RF That is the business - selling licenses! Dario

You don't have to worry about StockXpert it will be as it is now and probbably wont change for a few years. Getty buy all of this with Jupeter images: * Royalty free animations, templates and videos at Animation Factory * Share some laughs with a funny ecard from JupiterGreetings.com * Get high quality stock photos, royalty free images, and stock photography with Jupiterimages Unlimited * Photos.com the premiere stock photography website. * Quality footage and stock video clips available at Creatas Footage. * Download royalty-free pics at Comstock Images. * 10 Million downloadable images by subscription at Clipart.com * Web and Print resolution royalty-free photos by subscription from Comstock Images. * Royalty-free illustrations and stock photos by Subscription at liquidlibrary.com * Listing of royalty-free images available by subscription at SubscriptionImages.com * Tips and tricks and royalty-free photos from StockPhotography.com * High quality photos and graphics available at Stockxpert. * Premium clipart and more at ClipartConnection.com * Access royalty-free production music library tracks for background music and more at Studiocutz.com. * High-quality royalty free stock music for TV, web, presentation music, and more available at estockmusic.com and much more companies I didn't listed.
So their main interest is probably audio and music because Jupiter is main player at that field. So if you are not musician don't worry nothing changes for now. Maybe in 2010-2012.
