General Stock Discussion / Re: Keywording and meta data GPT

I tried signing into my ChatGPT account to give it a try and got this message, "Oops! Our systems are a bit busy at the moment, please take a break and try again soon."

AI is taking over ...

I'm curious and will try again later. Thanks for your efforts.

Yes, OpenAI struggles with this high demand, I think every time they announce something new, the traffic just skyrockets :) Should be fine in a few hour later. You can always check the status of their services here:

First of all thank you for creating it. I tried it on an old image from 1933 and it did very well in recognising cultural issues and potential cultural problems. The caption is spot on and  it created 26 keywords. Well done.

Thanks for sharing your experience, I'm happy it did well.

How does one create their own 'chatgpt' script? Thanks!

Unfortunately you need subscription on GPT in order to use it.

You can create your own GPTs here:

Hello guys,

I have created a GPT to generate meta data for our stock images:
https://chat.openai.com/g/g-RlTKUHzlr-image-metadata-guru

You can upload your image and it will give you Title, Keywords in the order of importance, description, category and it will also notify you if there is any visible trademark or logo related issue with the image. It is not supporting editorial content.

You will need a subscription to use it. Let me know what you think about it.
Reddit link: https://www.reddit.com/r/stockphotography/comments/17yd2ek/stock_photo_metadata_guru_gpt/

It can also generate .CSV file for multiple images. It is using Adobe Stock csv format. It also supports AI generated images.

Adobe Stock / Re: Account blocked - I need help please
« on: August 31, 2023, 04:50 »
I'm pleased to report that my Adobe Stock account has been restored and is functioning perfectly. However, the restoration occurred without any notice, email, or message from Adobe.

While I'm relieved and grateful that my account is active again, the lack of communication is disconcerting for several reasons:

Uncertainty: Without an explanation, I'm left wondering what caused the issue and how to prevent it in the future. (I got only the same generic reply)
Guidance: Without feedback, I'm unsure how to proceed with my contributions. Shall I delete any assets from my library or shall I change any meta data? What was exactly the reason?

It would be great if Adobe could provide some insights into why this might have happened and how contributors can avoid similar situations in the future?

I have had exactly the same questions and feelings as @JustAnImage wrote. I have also really learnt the lesson and I hope we are going to get back our account soon and we can fix any mistake we had and sort this out.

Is multiple accounts legal or illegal on Adobe? Can anyone officially answer it or is there any official information about it?

If I knew that my account might be blocked, because of the new AI images, I would just skip jumping into it and would continue creating 3d animations and videos only. Doesn't worth the risk.

Hello fellow contributors, and @MatHayward,

I have had exactly the same experience with Adobe Stock that has left me both surprised and deeply saddened. Without any prior notice, my entire portfolio was banned for a generic AI-related reason, and the specifics remain unclear (got exactly the same reply as @JustAnImage).

I've been a dedicated contributor to Adobe Stock for over six years, building a diverse library of more than 1200 animations and videos. I started creating AI images half a year ago and uploaded with high accept rate. Currently around 1200 AI images has been approved and around other 1200 images were under review. It's interesting that while my account is blocked, I still receive notification emails about my approved images.

My relationship with Adobe has always been positive, and I've actively supported and protected Adobe's value within the community. As the administrator of the Wirestock Creators Facebook group, I've consistently helped fellow contributors and even reported fraud attempts to support Adobe's security.

I reached out to Adobe, expressing my willingness to comply with their guidelines and proposing a solution to disable only the AI-generated content. I emphasized my respect for Adobe's intellectual property rights and assured them of my future adherence to their submission guidelines. I really don't want to ruin my 6 years of hard work.

I'm sharing this here with a profound sense of trust towards Adobe but also a feeling of sadness about how contributors are being handled. My good relationship with Adobe and my consistent efforts to uphold their values make this situation all the more disheartening.

@MatHayward, I appreciate your friendly and helpful presence on this forum, and I hope that you or anyone else from Adobe might provide some guidance or support in this matter.

Best,
Miklos

Same thing happed to me at the same time. I hope it won't ruin my 6 years work of videos and animations. Recently I was also generating AI images, I can't access anything on my account so can't even delete or review any of my images. Interestingly while I'm still blocked my previous submissions have been approved (got e-mail about it)

I can't create my test project because I always get this error:

Please check out this workaround:
https://www.facebook.com/Stock.Submitter.eng

"For a few months it was impossible to submit content to #iStock due to the latest changes in attempt to protect themselves from their own contributors. However, we were able to find a workaround. To submit your content to this agency, please open the Manage Agencies section, find iStock ESP and download the browser extension from there.
We didn't test the extension in the browsers other than Chrome, but it may work as well.
Unfortunately, there is no solution for StockSubmitter yet.
Please let us know of any issues you encounter while using the extension."

I found that for now there is a workaround only in Stocksubmitter+:

For Stocksubmitter developers replied: "we will add support for SS with extention later, now only M+"

Thanks guys for the reply. In that case they should use vpn maybe?

Btw. I also have issue with uploading new assets to Adobestock. Is it just me or others have similar experience?

38
Same issue here, I think we need to contact support about this issue.

Could you invite me to the Slack workspace? My email is: [email protected]

I'm the administrator of the Wirestock creators Fb group. Thanks

General Stock Discussion / Re: Buying photo/video portfolio
« on: June 25, 2021, 14:56 »
Hello guys,

Thanks a lot for your reply and voting in the poll. I was thinking about it to buy others portfolio or images, but it looks like that most of the artist would not consider this as an option. Most of them told me that they might need those photos one day in the future, or they just do not want to spend any time about selecting the proper assets. I think they might be also afraid of the license and contract documents.

If there is any article about this topic on internet, please let me know. I would be happy to see some sample documents and would be great to know who to do it properly. (For example how do you know if the other artist is the original owner or how do you specify the certain photo in a batch in one single document, etc.)

Thanks,

Hello Guys,

It looks like this topic is not so popular or there is not too much experience about it. I have started a poll, it might help to understand better how we think about this question.

Let me know what you think about it.

Thanks

Hey,
I'm currently thinking about to buy others photo or video portfolio. Do you know what is the proper process, contract or license agreement for this? Also, your link has been removed, so please pm to me so I can review it.

Thanks,

Hello guys,

I was wondering if it is possible to buy image/video collection from other artists. Do you have any sample for the license agreement or contract which would make it possible to sell these digital assets as a new owner?

Thanks for your help.
