Today's email from PhotoDeck:
Thank you for being part of PhotoDeck Private BETA program.
We have received extremely positive feedback, and the suggestions have been very valuable in helping us shape a great product. These are exciting times!
What's next?
We will publicly open the BETA program within a couple of weeks. The commercial launch is scheduled for July.
Note that PhotoDeck is ready to support real stock websites. In fact, we have a few of them in full use already - so don't wait!
Pricing plans after commercial launch:
- All launch features with 30GB storage: $24.99 / month
- Limited customization and features, with 10GB storage: $9.99 / month
No setup fee, and PhotoDeck takes no commission on sales that originate on your website. Options for additional storage will be available.
In case you missed it, we have deployed killer lightboxes, among other features.
Tell us what you think, and help spread the word!

Those don't look like "real people". Those look like badly posed, badly lit hired models on white.
on a badly designed site...

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0981047025Received recently a message from author on IS that my image was used in this book. I went ahead and bought it (color edition) - and was really surprised. Each page of this book (> 150 pages) has at least one photo from IS (with proper attributing). Several by Sjlocke, at least couple by Lisafx. Looks like Sonia made a point by sending messages to authors, so perhaps this is not news for most of you, but I could not stop myself sharing this.

I use mostly 16-85. Perfect range, but I wish somebody will do the same range but faster...

Perhaps if more people stop uploading they will start to listen?

Moo recently is pretty aggressive in their promotions, I am not sure FT paid a single penny for this (other than shipping for "best")

After checking IS licenses, looks like book usage of the picture does not require extended license if book has less than 500K copies (probably majority of books)
Is there any way to find out amount of copies printed?

Works fine for me, no problems

I've sent email, and received reply that "We had look into your account and reevaluate your images"
I cannot see any changes (though I could miss if they reverted only one) in batch that I asked to look at - looks like they agree with original evaluation. And - 80% of a new batch rejected again.
It seems I am not good enough for 123. Sad.
In "Blink" Gladwell notes that contempt is the strongest signal of future divorce.
Noted, recorded.

I used my alamy portfolio link as a website Cannot tell whether this works or not, no reply from them Modified. Posting here was sufficient to get instant rejection. Do not use my approach

Looks like Anglee is waiting for everybody here to cry "me too!"
I like 123. They are better for me than FT too. But with such rejection rate it does not worth to upload.

p.s. In the military I was a linguist. Spoke fluent Russian, Italian, Spanish, International Morse code and had a working knowledge (common conversation) of Greek, German, Hindi & American Sign Language. Today, I wouldn't dream of trying to hold a conversation on any other language site. Good for you!!
Такое не забывается, Ich bin sicher. Sei d'accordo? (sorry, my Morse is too rusty )

Nice programming Tried to register there, but... Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name: index

I guess some people will always find the dark side, especially when they are selling files, but now the complaint is which files?
I believe you did not understand. I'd never complain about selling old file, but I cannot be happy with selling one old instead of several new

I really cannot agree about reviewers - their consistency was one of main factors that made me considering exclusivity (though best match change threw away all considerations).
I do not always agree with IS reviewers, but at least they can err on some photos in the batch, as opposite to SS that errs on whole batches and has no scouts.

Looks like they are trying to close any possibility to find out what was sold and when. "Either trust us, or go away"
I am going to do latter if they do not fix this soon.

Unfortunately I don't have Lightroom
Lightroom beta is free at this moment (and at least for couple more months. If they do not finalize on current version - next beta will increase free period even more)

> 500 online, got 4 subs first month, zip after that. I did/do not expect anything from them, got my bonus, will wait holding period and remove (unless they prove they are not a regular bubble)

Perhaps it is not only best match, but something more "global". E.g. this is the first time I am waiting for scout reply for several weeks

and a verrry bad month on istock in general...(which truly sucks since roughly 70% of my stock income comes from there).
Was there Best Match change again? In April IS went from #2 (and far above lower ones) to #4 for me
