After 12 months i was with them and no a single sale, my answer is yes it's  a total waste of time.  >:(

Cannot agree more. I have yet to cancel my account there.

So did I. They did not sell a single file for a few months so I gave up uploading. However, I did not delete my pictures. They have still about a thousand of them if they should start selling.

I am still looking forward to finding a huge pile of sub-sales on my account one of these days. Prior to the bug I usually had a few of them every day...

Am I right in understanding that my images are still sold at JUI and photos but I cannot see how much I earned momentarily? I was wondering why those sales had stopped so abruptly. But as I have so many PPD and even EL sales at SX, I did not give it much thought. So I may be surprised with a lot of sub-sales appearing suddenly - not bad. A thing to look forward to... :-)

Yeah, OK, but I used to have about 90% of my files approved! And now that!

Huh, I do not know what to think about it any more. I has just started working for me again - OK. And I have just sold the 5th OD photo today!!!

I am getting really angry with fotolia and I am starting to think of giving them up. I am fed up with their "similar photo" rejections for photos with USD/EUR/CZK or flasks with potions in different colours or food on different trays or vertical/horizontal compositions. I am absolutely sure that a US customer looking for a money concept WILL NOT buy my pictures with euros! And a customer looking for a RED drink WOULD NOT buy a green one and then try to change the colour!
I used to solve the problem by dividing the "similar" pictures into several batches - and it used to be OK. But now they seem to have hired some new nutters who look at your older images! I have just a lot of pictures rejected for "similars" - and looking into it I have found out they are "similar" to a batch I uploaded a few weeks ago! This is really too much. And since the sales are getting worse there - more and more subs, I think they are not worth my time any more.

Wow! Now I cannot even see their page! Too bad... When we cannot access their page, buyers cannot either...

Still no success in uploading. I am thinking of sending them an email. But seeing that I am not alone, I am not sure about it. I think a lot of other people have already written to them.

Well, they have not shown up yet. I used Total Commander as usual and this has never happened before.  ???
On the positive side - I have just sold FOUR photos OnDemand!!! Never have I had more than one OnDemand / day before!  :)

What is it with their FTP today? I am not able to upload any single file! I use FTP as usual but I cannot see the files in the ToSubmit section then! Does anybody else have the same problems?

Curious... I like the photos taken with the older 400 more than the ones taken with the newer 50...  :-\ You may really want to try another lenses...

SnapVillage.com / Re: How many customers does this site have?

For me SV is much much better than YAY since I have regular sales there (even though most of them are subs, I have already seen payments from SV). However, I have yet to see the first sale at YAY.

Dreamstime.com / Re: Customer refund?
« on: October 03, 2008, 08:24 »
And one more thing. How can we (the photographs) be sure that the buyer will not use the photo for which he claims refund?

Exactly! I would understand multiple downloads - they are obvious mistakes. But the rest is unacceptable! One would download a file, use it as they wish and then claim they do not like it and want a refund. As simple as that. If you want to refund that, then do it from your own money and not from ours!

Adobe Stock / Re: Refund... something strange.
« on: September 30, 2008, 11:52 »
No way would I believe the client would actually delete the file! No sir! I just cannot believe it. It is ridiculous to say the least.
And as far as failed download is concerned - IMHO this is the problem of the agency, not mine. So they should refund the client (if at all) from THEIR commission. I think I like the microstock agencies less and less...

Sorry to bother you with a stupid question, but can you explain me what a refund IS? Someone is allowed to "return" my image they bought previously and he can be given refund? How can I be sure he does not keep a copy of my image? How is it possible at all to return a downloaded image? I would never allow that. Once downloaded, the image cannot be refunded or returned, can it?

I regret to tell you I have not seen a single On Demand sale in September. I have had only two of them since they were introduced. But I have noticed decreasing sub sales in SS since this On Demand thing was introduced. So all in all I must say it is not good for me at all.

Do you think I had to pay the fee because I have a business account? I am going to check it at once...

Just a guess, but you are overseas? PayPal is US based and charging that extremely high fee because of your location.

I'm understanding better why people want Moneybookers back as an option.  ;D

You are right! So THIS is the reason. I am from the Czech Republic - Europe! So this is why I had to pay for the transaction so much? And how much would I pay for a few hundred dollars from DT?

No, it would not be the case:
