Well, I had 4 sound sales in August. But it is not a new record for me since I had had 4 sales once before. But it is definitely improvement. I usually have one or two sales a month.

It is interesting to hear everybody moaning about summer slowdown! In fact July and August were much better for me than September has been so far.

Since I started selling my photos in microstock I have learnt to HATE weekends! I had only four sales yesterday! And today I have had only one sale so far! Not that the sales on weekdays are so perfect but the weekends are really horrible.

Yeah, the new page only shows a lot of useless information which are a few days out of date. You must click like a mad kangaroo to check your numbers - first login, then the stupid new pages, then you may finally get to the old downloading page to check your downloads and use a calculator to add your sales since not even the old earning page is working up-to-date any more!

The old page is at least one day behind. The new page is at least two days behind. The old page is now showing yesterday's sales, but the new page still shows nothing in September yet.
It wasn't broke, why did they 'fix' it? The new page is useless even if it worked. I don't want to know how many times I sold image #408933 this month. I want to know what I sold today.
Agree completely. I am not interested in the information the new page offers. I need to know only HOW MANY files I sold and HOW MUCH MONEY. And I would like to see it in the simplest way and in real time. Why didn't they keep the old page in place and add a link to the new "improved" for the people who would be interested? I envy the non-English users! They still have the old page...

Yes, there is a great problem obviously. I almost started to be afraid I am the only one to have difficulty. Since they introduced the new (and I would say not much lucid but very complicated) earnings and downloads pages I have not been able to find any accurate data. I always have to go to Old Downloaded Report which is BTW the only one to be working properly. The rest of their complicated new many-columned charts does not show the downloads for several days. I am still missing a download from Aug 30th and another one from yesterday. They are both in the Old Downloads Report but nowhere else. Not even in the Old Earnings which is very annoying since I cannot check my earnings quickly any more. I wish they had not changed the old page! I liked it much more than the complicated new and it WORKED properly and i real time.

Thank you very much, WhiteChild. I obviously misunderstood the concept. I thought it was up to me to set the business cards all ready with the text fields. So I tried to save one image (template) with a few different text fields. :-)

Yeah, I have my BME in August - about 40% better than July (2nd BME so far - 200% better than June). They really took off! Well done 123!

Interesting. Fotolia sells well for me. But I have been with them for a long time and managed to push through a lot of my older images which sell very well elsewhere but which would fotolia most certainly reject now. A lot of people complain about fotolia rejecting their images and not selling well. Other people are satisfied with the sales. I wonder how many of them are the old fotolia dogs (like me) who managed to upload their images BEFORE fotolia started their ridiculous reject-whatever-you-can thing. Or how many of the new clients of fotolia (who are affected by their strange rejections) are satisfied there.

July was OK for me, but August is definitely peculiar. It started so well, but in the middle of the month the sales abruptly stopped - and I have seen just a subscription sale now and then since. My earnings there are about half of those in July.

They are getting worse and worse. I have just got half of a batch rejected for "type" or "overabundant". If they did not sell so well for me, I would drop them this minute!

I agree. This is getting really stupid. You are allowed to take photos of almost nothing, you are allowed to write about almost nothing - and everything because of some stupid brand names or copyrights or logos. But try to get some products WITHOUT logos. It is almost impossible! So why they print their bloody logos everywhere when they are so anxious about seeing them in pictures then?

I usually resubmit almost everything that is rejected for "overabundance" or "similarity" or such nonsense. And almost everything gets accepted the second time...

Well, it is not so bad in my case - but I think it is only because I uploaded my images much earlier - they were slightly less picky that time. I have no "This is a nice image ..." rejection e.g. They accepted about 65 and rejected about 25 images of mine. All of them were accepted elsewhere.
But just the same - I think I will upload my bad photos to other agencies which are able to sell them. How do you close your account? Do you have to write to the admin? Or is there an easier way?
