I uploaded a lot of images using FTP yesterday. But they have not appeared in my Files section yet. Shall I upload them again using Flash uploader? And what if the originally uploaded images appeared later? Everything would be uploaded twice...

I regret to say SS has been really horrible this month. DT is almost better for me and it has never been better before.

Well, I have been with them for about a month and I have sold only one apron with a head of a Boa so far. The commission: 2.20 USD (not bad compared to 0.25 at Crestock...)

I have just been sent an answer:
" We're sorry to hear the site is giving you some trouble. Unfortunately some of our users are currently having trouble accessing their accounts. It appears your account has been affected. Our Help Desk and web team have been notified of the issue and we are currently investigating. Our team will work to implement a fix as quickly as possible. Thanks for reporting this issue and for your patience. We'll send you an update when account access has been restored. " So they are trying to fix it. I hope they will succeed ASAP.

There is no doubt in my mind that SS has overtaken the role as THE agency to be with, everything just flows with an effortless ease and professionalism, ELs are often and plenty and with the right PF theres always money to be earnt. Their search-engine is as good as can be. If theres one agency I would bet on to survive all crisis it would be SS.
I wonder what will happen if getty buys Shutterstock.
It will be the end of micro............

Sent one batch in. All accepted except 2, sent another batch in a couple of weeks later, all were rejected. 100% rejection is absurd. Not wasting my time with such a pathetic outfit.
Well, I used to have 100% accepted batches too. That is why I got so angry at their (almost) complete rejection of my last two batches (I do not think 5-10% accepted images is something to speak about. It is a blanket-rejection for me anyway.) I know my pictures are not worse now - on the very contrary. I just lost my temper with crestock. And I will not change my mind so fast although I have just had a few credit sales there recently (real credit sales, not their stupid (almost)free-of-charge so called subs).

Yeah - I had to wait for about five days for reviews! And the sales are much worse than in November.

I cannot believe it! I have just had a sale there!!! I asked for the money at once before they change their mind :-)

Just had a test, 100 % on my last batch, 2 weeks to process don't really see their point they should switch to macro and increase $ if they have so high standards !
100% accepted or 100% rejected ?

I'm not someone who complains on rejections infact I'm not going to complain even after I got 208 out of 208 rejected here. I've been doing this for just 10 months, i have lots to learn, so I can't really complain if a shot taken at f/11 with focus at infinity is rejected for "out of focus". Well, not one, a hundred of them. It means to me I have to learn to focus better, at infinity.
My only suggestion to the team is to give more info on your rejections, some of them really don't make much sense, but at least I had a couple of good laughs
Thanks for your help and good luck.
I know, it sounds like I'm complaining... but... come on... out of focus... ah ah ah
Well I have just stopped uploading to them, after having two batches almost completely rejected for "OOF" nonsense. Those photos were accepted by ALL the Big 6 and they are definitely NOT OOF! I have had enough of them. Although I had pretty frequent sales there, the sales were almost only subs and so I have decided CR are not worth my time and energy.

No, it is not. :-) More like the accepted ones are so good now that all the reviewers can see it and accept them. And vice versa :-(

Well, I have got emails about the sales OK recently. But what troubles me I have not received my fotolia payment which has been pending since DEC 3rd. Is anything wrong there?

The sales there are unusually good there! This month so far I have earned as much as for whole November.

Looks like I can only upload 150 images a day
So can I. But I think I never would... If I were to take and postprocess so many pictures a day, I would have to give up my regular job and all the other activities... Which of you is able to produce so many pictures?

Well, I know nothing about their hibernating but they are definitely getting on my nerves. They refused almost all the photos in my last batch which was accepted both at SS and at DT and is selling well there. But the idiots at SV found "multiple problems". How dare they refuse anything at all? If it were a well-selling agency, I would not complain. But they hardly sell a picture a day for me! They should be happy anybody bothers to send them anything at all.

StockXpert works just fine but DT does not. Something is wrong with the monthly earning stat.

Yeah, you are right - the application IS handy. I find it pretty useful and I am really happy it started working properly again. I have a few bugs here to report: DT plug-in does not show the monthly performance correctly - it is about a quarter of the real earnings although the total is OK. BS total still does not take into account the payments. And of course there are still a few N/A items, but since I am sure you know about them yourself, I shall not write about them.

Wonderful. I am going to update it at once. I really like the application and hope it will keep working. TNX

How are you going to protest? Just by sending them an email?

I had a couple from iStock also.
Ok: The list is now:
DT BigStock FT IS
Any others?
I think it should be stated more clearly. Only the pages where they take money from your account for "card fraud" - which they should not. I had one from IS too - but it was obvious and I did not complain - the same customer downloaded the same file accidentally for the second time within minutes from the first download. So I suggest making a list only of those agencies where they refund "card fraud" - which in fact is stealing from us as this should be their loss. They take a great part of our money as it is so they should take the risk.

Sh.t! Just have another one! And DT again too! Does it happen only with DT or do you have the bl..dy refunds for "card fraud" anywhere else so often too? I really think of cancelling my account there. If they are not able to protect my images in a better way, I am not willing to leave them there for anybody to steal any more!
