Thanks for the reply, I changed my DNS to google's. That didn't fix the problem, but I got around to trying Firefox and i was able to login using Firefox. So I guess that will be the browser i'll be limited to for now. Wish chrome worked :(. Either way, happy to finally be able to login on my windows comp.

General Stock Discussion / Can't login to iStock on Windows comp.
« on: December 03, 2011, 14:22 »
Hey Guys,

I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem, or have had it before. I can't login to my istock account on my windows computer but I can on my mac. I've tried multiple browsers, emptying cookies and cache. Nothing seems to be working, I even had my brother try on his mac and it worked, but on his pc no dice. So windows is the problem. I sent a support ticket last night but of course I haven't heard back yet.

Thanks for any help.
Trevor.

You couldn't make this stuff up.

On the last day of the month to, I was having solid sales today. This is such a joke, how is a site that earns millions of dollars a day unable to operate.

each week keeps getting worse and worse for me... i'm now down about 40% in weekly $ earnings from 'normal'.

could this be from increased competition? I don't see competition talked about to often on here, and was just curious what everyones take on it was.

This mouse has been great for me, I love it. Comes with a usb cord to recharge when it gets low, and the battery charge lasts a really long time. It's a bit pricey but it was worth it for me.

I started out Nikon and switched to Canon because of the 5d mark II, Nikon doesn't have a camera in the same range megapixels, full frame for the money. The D700 just doesn't have enough, especially for stock in my opinion. I loved Nikon's focusing system though, if they had a competing camera with the mark II, I probably would have gone with it. Happy with both Canon and Nikon though.

Put some work up in the critique forums and learn from the feedback you receive.

« on: September 14, 2010, 16:50 »
A noticeable fall off of buyers from IS will never be seen, as much as some of you think that may happen. There are far to many buyers, Istock is worldwide and the amount of buyers is way to vast for these royalty changes to have any noticeable effect on istock sales. Istock knows this, its no secret. They aren't concerned about any fall out.

They used one of my stock images, I wonder if they used it legally  :-\ I suppose they did because of the size of it in the video.

iStockPhoto.com / Slow inspection queue.
« on: April 30, 2010, 11:36 »
With all the problems during April, I was hoping the queue would have picked up by now but i sitll have images 9 days plus that don't fall into the bad day categories 14-16th etc. This is really frustrating, especially when they say they are working on it and the queue hasn't moved.

Im curious if non-exclusives are experiencing even longer delays?

Newbie Discussion / Re: New microstocker :)
« on: April 24, 2010, 15:23 »
Maybe I should have clarified a bit more on "didn't want to contribute to them anyway." Being new to stock photography, I didn't know much about it when I applied for an account. After some research, I found out what my work -mainly interested in wildlife- was better off with RM in a traditional stock agency like Alamy.

Ah, wildlife.  Nature.  Well, no wonder.

And for those of who contribute quality work to microstock, I have a question- why do it? You get an unfair payment for the time you spent in getting the shot. Those of you who say you do it for fun, not money- why not contribute your good works to macrostock, and not so good to micro?

I'm a masochist.

hahah.
