spend?? save them for the side show :)

I believe this slideshow will NOT work at all

Just went to do a search on what this "great feature" is about
a search on dog as what bryan mention and return 2000+ images

a search on keywords like business, family, woman, love etc  and you get result of "a lot" of images

What this mean is even though you are in the "slideshow"
you are still competing with thousands of images.

So why shall we pay for this feature?

Please enlighten me

1 year on and 56 downloads from 90K+ views. This site is really a joke.

But no plans to remove anything from it. Will just wait for the miracle to happen "someday" and I can ask for my first payout.

Still waiting .. and waiting ...

SS is the first site I started with and the most consistent site for me as well. Any Increment would be nice and I hope it will be a minimum of 5c to raise it to 30c.

However do note that SS is the only site so far whereby if the subscriber download up to their max limit daily(which they willing to take the risk that it seldom happen) they will be in the RED.

750 images at 30c per commission. That will give them a -ve $25.

there is no way to stop all these spam .. they will just keep finding new ways to beat the system. Most important is end user are aware of such scam and do not get trick into it.

Cheques are actually far best if not only acceptable method for some of us so you cant claim that they are useless for all of us outside US. Paypal doesn't even work here ,and moneybookers gives about 1200$ limit in 3 months for my country, so its about 400$  month limit. If you earn more than that ... those useless cheques are more than helpful

Just wanted to say that , I have nothing against that they ad paypal as payment option :)

That's one point i miss out on ..
my bad :)

Leaf-
We'll get to it, but we're working on a few more things on the operations side that will help buyers.  I know it's important to photographers.  While it might be relatively easy to set up, it needs to be built into our accounting set-up to make sure everyone gets paid quickly on a regular basis.  Right now checks will be our method.

Bryan

Hi Bryan

if its relatively easy to setup, why cant it be added right now? If a check can be written manually, I do not see why a paypal payment can be made manually as well.

With only cheque as your mode of payment, many fotog are not interested in joining. Cheques are practically useless for those not in USA due to the high admin fee charges by banks. Even for myself, until paypal is avalable, I just have to assume that all the sales made are "real" as I am not sure if i will ever get money from it.

Hope LO can have a projected timeline for the addition of paypal payment.

Cheers
Jlye

i have 1 red flame and 6 normal flames.

the one with the red flame puzzles me as well .. averages 48.5 DL a month.
But as usual, no complaints as long as it earns me $$$

« on: September 16, 2006, 20:48 »
microdrive provide great storage at low price.

However, they suck up your battery and slow in writing.
It's very vulnerable too. Drop it on the floor and your photo might just disappear with it.

So use it with care.
