In other forums there is a sandbox where such childish and embarrassing discussions can be held - just a thought.
I don't understand why discussions here so often get out of hand - that goes for both of you.

Are you a school teacher?

...

The only conclusion I can come to, is they are CROOKS.

just shows how limited your judgment is, that you automatically assume they're crooks - and then start another thread with the same silly conclusion.

You have no idea what you are talking about and are just trolling me.

I'v been selling on Microstock sites since 2008, and I have experienced just about everything, personally I think that 123RF are a bunch of crooks....
[blah blah blah]

condemn their business ethics, none of your posting shows anything illegal!

It pains me that I have to do this, and it doesn't help being trolled by a NUTTER LIKE YOU

YOU KNOW, nothing about business and seem to be as thick as . . . . .

ad hominem attacks are the last resort of those without actual evidence

LOL, ad hominem, sure there is nothing illegal in shafting the contributors, you seem to not only condone it, but enjoy it.

123RF are run in the same way as the 17th century mill owners in the UK, once they had persuaded all the workers to stop working from home, with better pay, they then cut their wages claiming that they weren't making any money, this was just one excuse, they had a whole room full of them.

Stock agencies like 123RF are just working the same business model from three hundred years ago.

It's just you are to dumb to know this.

Shutterstock used to be an honourable company until Oringer decided to cope out and hand over the dirty business of shafting the contributors to his new side kick Pavlovsky, a man with no morals.

The company sucked in thousands of contributors and then shafted them, I can only assume that Oringer had this written in his 'Business Model' when he set the business up.

I understand that these days he 'works' in silicon valley, personally if anyone works for him directly or is in business with him I would suggest they run a mile.

Chat response:

"Thank you for contacting us.

Our IT team has been already been informed of an unusual number of refunds occurring and are investigating the issue currently. Give them some time to investigate the matter, we will update you by email as soon as we receive more information.

Thank you for your patience and understanding in the meanwhile."

I got this as well, they are just lying, this has been going off and on for quite a few years, but in the last few years, they have stolen money more.

For heaven's sake, according to your claimes every stock agency is run by criminals. Why are you even still in this business? Just leave already and get one of that mystery dream job where the people who own the company pay you more than they earn themselves.

Your comment is quite a silly, the reality is when microstock first started the contracts, ie, commission rates where fair, mostly 50/50, over the years these have been eroded by greed and the self serving interests of the wealthy, who have moved in on the sites, realising as they do in so many industries, that they can asset strip them.

istock, Shutterstock, Getty, etc are classic examples of this.

The reality is, creative people and in fact anyone with half a brain will vote with their feet, unlike you who likes to take it . . .

These days I don't need the money from these sites, but I'm pissed off that I have over 14 years worth of work that they think they can scam off me.

Obviously you like to be ripped off and you like it that way. LOL.

123RF are going down the pan, they are dipping into contributor pockets to survive.

I'v been selling on Microstock sites since 2008, and I have experienced just about everything, personally I think that 123RF are a bunch of crooks.

As just one example, about eight years ago I had a lot of sales of logos that I had designed, everyday they would sell, many times more than once.

Then without any warning they deleted all of my logo's and everyone else who was selling logo designs, what they had done is, they had bought literally thousands of logo's and would only sell their own.

Every logo that was theirs was completely and utterly rubbish, they were beyond amateurish, after about a year they allowed logo's to be uploaded again, needless to say they had killed this market.

The only reason that I stayed on the site was because I used to get a payout every month; over the last few years this along with the commission rate cuts has changed to every other month.

This site is struggling to survive and that is why they are dipping into all the contributor's pockets with refunds, I'm getting out before they crash.

I'm about to delete over 14 years of hard work from this site, these days I don't need the money as I have very good sales elsewhere.

It pains me that I have to do this, and it doesn't help being trolled by a NUTTER LIKE YOU

YOU KNOW, nothing about business and seem to be as thick as . . . . .

Just had two sales for 1c each and another for 3c, do these people really think that I believe this is the correct commission rate, so called partner sales, more like lets sharft the contributor sales.

Just written them a email asking them to stop doing this.

My account is at $95.68 and the sales have slowed to a snails pace, the reality is they are in trouble financially otherwise I would have had a payout last year.
can we expect further accusations of criminality for other agences who done you wrong?

your evidence for claimed correlation & causation? (rhetorical, i dont expect you'll produce any)

What a bizarre nutty you are. Really just trolling me, LOL, a nutter.

This is another site that is obviously going down the pan, there refunds are from years ago 2012/13/15/16, none of the other sites I'm on give anywhere near the amount of refunds these people do, every month refund after refund.

The only conclusion I can come to, is they are CROOKS.

I'm still getting downloads in Russia, this needs to be stopped.

I had two in Moscow today, they are breaking the sanctions on Putins Russia, this must stop.

Did you join their joining revenue share model? If so I am not sure why you are upset now. You got what you signed up for.
If you didn't join this unlimited downloads & contributors share the lousy revenue- crap, then of course that's another matter.

No, I didn't join their revenue 'sharing' model, they seemed to have just signed me up.

But it obviously shows the remuneration if you do.

I guess the question is, how many other people have they signed up without them knowing.

DepositPhotos / 2c Image Sale RSM Subscription
« on: March 01, 2022, 05:01 »
Checked my downloads this morning only to find a 2c sale, called a RSM Subscription.

I immediately contacted them by their 'Chat now' function and asked for my Portfolio to be removed from this subscription section, and was helpfully informed by someone called Irene that they would do this.

If it happens again, I will delete my entire Port, which is over 10 years work.

Selling for 2c, is beyond ridiculous, I'm on the verge of deleting this portfolio anyway as they made cuts last year from 31c to 27c.

10 years ago the the download commission was 30c, they are going backwards, not forwards, but as with all the sites that cut commissions, it's about larger shareholder dividends and lack of imagination on how to sell microstock.

Off Topic / Re: Will the Russia/Ukraine war affect sales?
« on: February 28, 2022, 09:44 »
Good point.

Let's continue the history lesson with the shameful "percentage agreement" when Churchill, the "war hero", sold in cold blood, the east of Europe to Stalin, a man who murdered millions on a national scale.

In case you can't read Churchill's handwriting:

Romania
 -Russia 90%
 -The others 10%
Greece
-Great Britain (in accord with USA) 90%
-Russia 10% (he scratched "the Others" and replaced it with Russia)
Yugoslavia 50-50%
Hungary 50-50%
Bulgaria
 -Russia 75%
 -The others 25%"

The checkmark is Stalin's.

I have to admit that this is worse than leaving Ukraine on her own devices, in the fight with another Russian tyrant, but fundamentally it's similar to what we see today.

You cannot compare now to 80 years ago. that is simply bonkers, in fact that is what Putin is doing now and he is as mad as a box of frogs.

Lets just put this in perspective, times change and the world and societies were very different 80+ years ago, you miss all the nuance, pressures and the pragmatic decisions that were made for reasons at the time.

The only Russian that should be banned from anything is Vladimir Putin.

Sorry, this is wrong, Putin is just the headman with his finger on the button, there are many others, pressure can only be exerted collectively.

The reality is, they won't be able to receive any money anyway, all the payment systems to Russia have been shut down.

It has nothing to do with hating Russians, it is just another way to make them inderstand that the Russian people need to do something about the mafia organisation that is running their country.

People are dying, Putin is talking about nuking the world, he is as mad as a box of frogs and this needs to be bought home on all fronts to the Russian people.

After suckering in the talent, many so called tech companies operate a slave labour system of remuneration, Deposite photos are no different, they lack innovation, imagination and any business sense, this is demonstrated by this latest wheeze, with no explanation of what the financial returns actually are.

Who cares what Shutterstock are paying, because whatever it is, anyone with half a brain can see that Jon Oringer and his side kick Stan Pavlovskare are ripping off those who upload.

Ask yourself 10c, LOL, even in the deepest recesses of the lowest paid people on Earth this is unacceptable.

Personally, I don't give my talent away for FREE, but, many people still do, STOP UPLOADING and get that inner satisfying feeling that you are doing the right thing.

The criminality comes from their behaviour, nobody signed up to a change with this new contract, in effect it was forced on everyone.

Everybody signed up because they had to, in effect it was coercion

otherwise here in the UK, we would still have the same rights (which would be none) as when we had the seventh century mill owners claiming poverty as to why they were cutting the wages of the workers, while living in palatial mansions.
so you failed history as well as economics!  SEVENTH century???  (understanding you have no actual links to these absurdities)

Really, what a nutter you are, you don't seem to even understand English.
