Hi,
In the beginning the inspection time was about 24 hrs. or less, now editorial stuff waiting over 3- 4 weeks and no sign of inspection. Sent a letter to admin and the answer was a prefabricated meaningless one. Dose anybody have same or similar experience or only I'm the lucky one ? Thanks for the help. Cheers Tom

Hi Everybody, Sorry just venting out.
About 2 mounts ago all changed. I have newer been a "100 % acceptance rated guy" but did O.K. all the time with SS - until know (I mean 2 mount ago) I did reach 99.99 % rejection rate ! Big achievement overnight ( I bet no body managed to achieve that) ! I was down so in desperation I wrote to SS admin and ask why ? They were fast and polite with the answer - to make it short the inspector agreed with the review - big slap on my face. I use the same gear (5D II with all "L" series glass), and with the post production C.S. 4) spending more and more time to make the image better. I do not know what I'm doing wrong ?? Well just keep trying. Like somebody said in this tread "There loss" and as well as mine since until 8 weeks ago SS and I did fine since 2007. I wish i know what I'm doing wrong ?
Tks to listen to me.
Have a Fantastic New Year Everybody.

Hi, Some time ago there was a tread about this when actually a lawyer (reader) vent into details explaining how much this "LAW" is misinterpreted. I do not think that any agency picked up on it - or may be there Lawyer interpreted in a different way -do not know.

"I was very hopeful when they were bought out that would improve" and the rejection rate are way way too high.

Here is what Peter wroth
"Thank you for writing. It might take a long time to get approved. We have just started the site and we would like to do some advertising first. We will start letting in new contributors when we start receiving some traffic. Thank you very much for your patience! Best regards,Peter Hamza"
I think he said something similar in his earlier open latter to all of those who would be interested to contribute for StcoFresh. Yes I love to be there too but i give a breathing space for the guys and wait - not because i could do anything else. Regards

Hi , Tks for the honest input whatalife. "To clarify, since you are quoting me, I do not "shop around". I am aware of the prices at DT vs. iStock. (Neither of which is 33 or 25 cents, or anywhere near that, by the way). I don't go scouring a bunch of sites to try to save a few pennies. When I go from istock to ONE other site, it is because I can get the same large image from the same photographer for as low as $4 at DT that would be $18 (12 credits) at IS, or the same medium image for as low as $3 that will be $9 at IS. Once I've decided to purchase an image, I am going to purchase it. If I can spend an extra 5 or 10 minutes to pay a fraction of the cost, then I will. Sure, the photographer is making a lot less, but I figure they made the choice to sell it elsewhere for a fraction of the cost, so I'd be foolish not to save money where I can."
