"But it doesn't have to be that way. Shoot what you like and how you like to make it. Create imagery that matters to you. Produce work that you can look (back) upon and feel proud of. Trust that you will be successful if you are passionate enough.
Be the best you can be at making your kind of stuff and you will be rewarded in far more ways than money can ever matter. Go for it." Yes it is the right way to live.

Had 3 or 4 about 6 mounts ago and dead ever since. It is a pity - it was promising for a bit.

Hi, "shall give you an example of a good advertising ploy.....in 2005 British Gas announced if you buy you electric and gas from us ( duel fuel) we shall freeze our prices till 2010.I have not got the figures to hand but literally 1000@s signed up including me !" and now the fuel price is low and You still have tom pay big $.
"Istochphoto should freeze the prices until march 2011.It will keep the current buyers happy and hopely make some return into the fold." Are you real ?

Hi, 98% Aperture Priority mode RAW and JPG, most of the time use tripod. Use to be big fun of strobe -but not lately (no reason). 99% on 100 ISO with cable release. Upload to my P.C. (at this moment over 1200 images waiting to be edited -ohh boy). Quick selection to get red of the bad ones (non left). Photoshop and dump it to the right folder. Save one in TIF and one in low resolution JPG (for show). Allways save the RAW with the correct caption. Use external 1 TB hard drive (about to get an other for secondary back up). Well that is how i do it. Cheers Tom

They simply have to build some volume initially. To open shop with 1000 good images is not going to draw as much fanfare as 50,000 moderate - good photos. And as I've always contended, tis not OUR place to judge whether a shot is "good" or "useful", that judgement lies soley in the hands of the buyers and their $$$.
