I did recently my very first collage. What I have heard about them is that they are good sellers. However, I am not sure if I did it well ... Here is one:  Should I send it like that or change something? Or even maybe send these pictures separately ? Thank you for opinions

Hi, Maybe it is a silly question, but I am extremely confused. I have been staring on this picture, but can't come to the point. Is it better to send full, or cropped version? full  cropped  As for me the cropped one looks better, but maybe the full version has higher stock potential?

Yes, I see this lightened area under her hair..
Thank you whitechild for you small tutorial, it is really helpful, I didn't know it before.
But what about this hair on the top of her head? Can it stay like that? I guess that highlighting this hair was the only way to achieve absolutely white background.

I guess that the suit should be rahter darker or even totally black, therefore I played with levels like that. But speaking about hair - you are right, they look better in your version. How did you do that?

Here is an another example, but now I am not sure about the isolation. I mean her hair on the top of her head. I have done it with Dodge Tool/ Highlights in Photoshop, because the background wasn't totally white. full image:  100% scale view:

Hi,
I am considering changing prices for some of my bestseller images. As I am 'silver' I am able to make the prices higher, for example EL to 100$, and maybe even make some photos exclusive in order to change S and L prices. Is it good idea?
I just thought that if these particular pictures are good, buyers still buy them even if they have to pay a little more.

I am asking more experienced contributors with portfolios over 1000 and more than 1 year on stocks - how are your sales recently and how you consider your future on stock ?
Personally I have portfolio over 1500 and have been in this business over 2,5 years.
Speaking about SS for instance - I have been always avaraging about 80 dls a day (even over 150 sometimes). Now it's about 30-40. Of course I am uploading new stuff, however there is no such a 'boom' on them as it was even couples months ago.
Having on mind that there are more and photographers, competition is extremely high, I am getting a little bit discouraged. May this business still be profitable?
you could retrain as a bricklayer or a ballet dancer.Driving a big red bus or taxi driving might earn you some income besides photography.Anyhow i hope you don't starve!
If I were not 19 years old and was not studying for the first year it may be quite a smart idea

I am relatively new (have about 50 pictures) on Alamy and there some points that simply confuse me. 1. What is the general idea of Pseudonyms? Do they help anyhow in selling pictures or making them more visible to the search engine? 2. What is the difference between Views and Zooms ? I have about 70 views, but only one zoom  3. What is CTR? My avarage CTR is 1.32 Thank you in advance Michal

I am happy with my sales everywhere, month by month earning more, but DOLLAR drives me mad and demotivate from uploading.

I send files to agencies like SS, Dreamstime etc. Can I sell files which have been already downloaded on Alamy? What if someone wants to buy a photo there on RM licence when that photo have been sold several times as an RF?

Hi,
I am looking for good and efficient program for puting IPTC data into image. I have used PixVue recently, however it does not work on my new Win Vista.
It should meet specific conditions:
- easy pasting/copying keywords
- ability to copy and paste IPTC data to couple images at once
- also good if it would show number of keywords put into
- be clear, easy and not overhelming, best if devoted just to iptc data
I am not satisfied with Adobe Bridge or Photoshop info panel.
I am looking forward to your suggestions
