When enter many new "photographers" as they are not experienced in stock photography they will shot a lot of not good sellable content, but content which will fill many niches in the Shutterstock's collection and this overall will return more complex search results to the client and from there more satisfied customers.

It is not important for Shutterstock. If I'm not wrong, it was made clear by Vincent.
It is for Fotolia, indeed, but that's another discussion all together.

500px should align their keywords number with the rest of the industry.

I can't believe it. Just because this will blurs the search and Shutterstock will never lower the quality of its search. Always will dominate some keywords and which will be will never been taken on random way i guess. The best is the human(not scrip) to decide which keywords describe the best some particular image and they will never be 30 or 50, but maybe 3 or 5 as first level of coincidence

Kelly Thompson is a good guy who worked his ... off to move istock forward and earned us all a lot of money before getty brought istock down.

He made some stupid comments on the forums, yes, but to me he is one of the best istock had.

So this is good news.

Please give me a proper upload process with automatic downsizing and watermarks. I really would like to try 500pix.

This is already available on 500px. There are check boxes for to put watermark and also another for to be put on sale in Prime. I upload all images in bulk(in high resolution) and all is done automatically on the site after that.

I don't remember, but was around November last year, this year was faster rejected. I'll apply again, because i like them very much.
They try to arrange a photo puzzle where every photographer to bring specific content(piece of the puzzle) which to not be in competition to the others part of the puzzle. All this puzzle parts have to build the amazing image of Stocksy with great unique content. But there is a big problem with this, because after acceptance almost every photographer starts to upload different content. Since I shoot everything what i like i have less chance to be accepted, although in this days i have a very intelligent approach of image selection for every agency.

Just to complement, to me it's not coincidence as i have regular sales there.

There's no way I am going to apply again if they aren't giving people the courtesy of a response.  I don't like waiting for news that never comes.  There's so many other places to sell my images, if they can't treat people that have taken the time to apply with a bit of respect, I wont waste time on them.

I've no idea if they received my first application, I presume they did and they didn't want me but with no communication, its impossible to know that for sure.  That doesn't give me any motivation to go through the process again.  Even the old agencies used to send out a generic rejection letter, that wasn't nice but was much better than nothing.

I have seen that SIM makes invoices with adresses of buyer and contributor.

Whats with the EU-VAT on superimagemarket.com?
If they are only a marketplace every european contributor has to pay VAT for every single buyer from europe in there homecountries.

They will say, but i think SIM cannot make invoice on behalf of another company. They will give you invoice from their own company and you will not pay VAT, as they are outside EU.

To me it's all about collections. One good image can be priced 1$ in one collection and $1000 in another, but this is not valid for weak photos

We can find thousands of images in microstock exactly looking like this in the Stocksy's curated collection(or Offset...),but to find all them together will cost for one client so much time that he will always pay more but to look at tightly edited collection.

I got first EL for the month, i'm not sure if this offer cover the ELs too. If yes we can expect more in the next 20 days.
