what happens if your traveling at near the speed of light and you hit a speck of space dust or a fragment of an asteroid etc. I'd like them to work that out before I buy a ticket.
The same thing that happens when you travel at today's speeds, and some tiny rock hits you. Those rocks sometimes travel 50 miles per second, which means they are many times faster than a bullet.

LOL, ok, it's not 500 years. It is basically possible with today's technology...
Oh really? Could you at least vaguely discribe to me the technology the allows us to contain and store any significant amount of anti matter? Just so you know, even handling pure hidrogen is a big problem...
Just a simple magnetic field is able to keep antimatter in a container. The electric power needed to produce and maintain such a magnetic field is completely achievable. I mean, it's possible today, and it's even not so expensive. Antimatter particles are electrically charged, and they act like any other "matter" particles.

...Now it's all the question of money, and a few technical problems.
That made me LOL, the few small technical problems could take hundreds of years to overcome. In theory, lots of the science in Star Trek is possible but the practical application of these things is beyond us. Would be interesting to jump 500 years and see if we have made much progress but I have a few technical problems with my time machine
LOL, ok, it's not 500 years. It is basically possible with today's technology, so we don't have to wait for technological development. The only real problem is money, which doesn't have to be a problem if people realize how important this is. It's always better not to wait for aliens to find us unprepared.

The problem with the solar power is that it can be stored only as an electric power. But engine that uses antimatter is 10 000 000 000 more efficient than anything else. It's an ultimate energy source because only that way the whole mass of the fuel transforms into energy according to e=mc^2
Antimatter produced in CERN is 1 000 000 less than needed for interplanetary flight.

Scientists proved that Earth's magnetic field accumulates antimatter produces in collision of cosmic rays with matter, in certain zones near the Earth. In these zones antimatter is 1000 times more concentrated than usual. The amount of antimatter that could be collected in one year is enough to make an interplanetary trip to Saturn, which magnetic field collects even more antimatter. Speeds would be tremendous, with constant acceleration of 100km per seconds, which means that spacecraft with this acceleration would soon reach the speeds close to the speed of light. Traveling to planets in Solar System would take hours or days to complete. Near the Saturn, there is enough antimatter to travel to stars. Now it's all the question of money, and a few technical problems. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-14405122

Both Audiosparx and Musicdealers (and many others) don't accept artists who sell audio through Istockphoto and other cheap agencies. There is one more site sells from time to time (Revostock).
In general, being on these few sites I earned much more than I was earning on Istock. The move from Istock to these other agencies wasn't easy, since I had to upload and configure everything again, but I didn't regret it.
There was a good place to read reviews of many audio libraries, but they closed the website for guests. Since I was a member, they provided me with one more month of free service. The address is http://musiclibraryreport.com/ratings/ I hope this helps, Ivan
Interesting! I am exclusive on istock today and doing only sfx. I dont know much about how other audio stock sites works and it's always interesting to hear other peoples experiences. I was checking pricing of sfx on some of the other sites but couldn't see there was a big diffenece from iStock, but maybe the royalties are better?
I read on Audiosparx about that they don't accept artists who sell audio through Istockphoto and some others, but one of the first artists I found there is also selling on istock (as nonexclusive of course) so I dont know how hard they really are on this.
Probably the artist didn't tell to Audiosparx staff that he sells on Istock too. Royaties on Audiosparx are 60% for exclusives, and 40% for non-exclusives.

My image is flagged by a person who's stats are: Uploaded files: 0 Total sales: 0 Portfolio exposure: 0% Database exposure: 0% Message boards: 0 Monthly uploads: 0.00 average Uploads this month: 0 I mean... seriously!? Maybe someone joined DT just to earn 2 cents for every flagged image.... It could be a buyer too. I just don't know if buyers accounts look the same as contributor's accounts.

Yeah, they don't even bother removing logos anymore. The packs are advertised as "Shutterstock Bundle" or "Fotolia Bundle".
So disgusting.
Exactly...

The website support sent me an email explaining the situation. They basically buy only a single license to show the product on their website, and if someone actually buys the wallpaper they pay for the proper license. It makes sense, because it would be too much for them to pay EL for every item they have in their catalog, before they are sure they will sell it.
They just sent me an email saying: "Thanks to you I will clear all these licence related issues. I want to sleep well at night, without emotional rollercoaster and penalty threating issues."
I guess these guys are OK. They were probably poorly informed, and they are trying to correct the error right now.

I found it through google images search. I never sold this image under EL. There are lots of stock images there. Maybe you guys should all check it.

I'm selling audio too. By far the best sellers are Audiosparx and Pond5. Both have constant sales and give 40-60% of earnings to artists. I have few sales worth more than $150 each at Audiosparx. There are sites that pay thousands of dollars (like Musicdealers) but you really need to be lucky. One of my instrumentals was chosen with few others for a job worth $20 000, but it wasn't a winner. Given some other images there, this may not be a compliment...
Hahaha! True!

It's not really a stealing of an image, but it's still interesting. The image of me, taken by another photographer, shrunk vertically a bit, used along with a "3D Studio" watermark on an Arabic blog with a title "Bald and beautiful" Well, at least they think I'm beautiful, LOL. http://kachalman.blogfa.com/

LOLOL, yes, cevapcici! Who doesn't like them?! I hope you had a great time Maria. Maybe, when you find a free minute, drop me a few lines. Welcome back!

I used live support several times with success. No one told me it's just for buyers . LOL, maybe 123RF folks love me. Anyway, I think some agencies work for some artists, and some other don't (Fotolia never worked for me)

again it is quite weird and hard to explain the difference between contributors.. I do 6x more money on 123 that I do at BigStock or CanStockPhoto.. my BigStock/CanStockPhoto are dead dead.. like 5 to 10 sales monthly
this month 123RF - 64 sales - 51.35$ (no "EL") CanStockPhoto - 4 sales - 2$ BigStock - 3 sales - 2$
My stats are relatively similar. Just numbers are smaller, but the relation between them is the same.

Yeah, I'm sorry too. Did you try to put your images in "faved"? When you do that, those images will appear on the first page of the search among similar images.
They have live support on the website. You could start chat and ask them to remove your portfolio.
