We do our maintenance on Wednesday nite at midnight because of the nature of our business. I'm sure that's why they do theirs on Saturday. Slowest d/l day. FYI, haven't had a d/l since Friday nite and I don't like it! Normally get half a dozen or so weekend days. Oh we'll, it is what it is.

A constant communications should have been set up with the contributors when this problem first began. Can you imagine how your bill collectors would react if you told them, "well, you should get paid this weekend, maybe", and then not pay them! This is a terrible business model. It doesn't shed good light on GI or IS.

Being an IT person, believe me when I say it's management and not the IT people. Their thinking is strictly sales minded and not the tech end that's needed to provide their wild wish lists. In IS's case, the ship is sinking. It wasn't the IT dept that made the decision to join Getty in the first place or any of those special weird image classifications they've created. However, if the IT dept is incompetent, that's another story.

I'm not so concerned with size manipulation as I am with the MR's and the PR's on FAA. I've seen many images there that require releases on most other MS sites. Is it because they are Art? I've seen several Disney images sold that would require a release elsewhere. Any thoughts?

Funny, I just did the exact same thing. I'll try a sub domain as well. Never thought of that. I created a sub-folder and I can't see it when I look for it live hence the reason I came looking. Thanks!

There must have been a shuffle of sorts, Most of the D/L's I received today were old images rarely sold in the past. It seems that SS has been doing this lately and usually for a day or so before going back to the norm.

I missed so much and have bounced through multiple symbio threads, I was wondering if there's going to be, or already is, a sticky or thread that walks a "newbie" through the whole install process. My company blocks all social sites including MSG plus being on vacation has left me at a loss. Thanks for all the hard work....looking forward to "joining".

Sounds to me like this textbook publisher was looking for a wide variety of content. People reporting a number of different subjects. Most of my sales were medical related.
5 out 6 of mine were medically related as well.
