Hi Joann,
You have brought up a good point in your post. We have discussed this in depth and we will open the link in a new window to ensure that the customer will not lose focus on your image (or any of our contributors') so that they can buy after registering and logging in.
Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention.
Alex.

Hi All,
Let me be very clear - We don't employ automated scripts to review your images. Else we'll NEVER have a queue. Each image batch is reviewed at random and assigned to different reviewers with different experience levels.
It's often difficult to judge which sells and which doesn't, however, we do apply some rules of thumb. I believe you'll agree with me, the process is an ever evolving one. We need to change and update ourselves constantly to ensure that we stay relevant.
I believe many of you have found that 123RF has never had a "closed door" policy with regards to appeals. And when you do appeal, we will take note of the trends etc. and we make it a part of our review process. We need to refine and retune our review process all the time.
I for one, will certainly won't go around making up rules like whenever <whoever> sends in submissions, just accept them all without question. That, in my books smells of favoritism and very open to abuse.
If you have read our "Hear It" section at all, the number one advice that most photographers give is: Don't take rejections personally and perhaps we should all be more objective when it comes to rejections.
Thank you very much. I hope to receive your appeal soon.
Alex.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for your support, we're always pushing the boundaries and with grow comes bigger challenges too. Yes, review times are taking and hit and we're reorganizing the way we work and review images in order to squeeze every ounce of efficiency we can get. We're also taking in new reviewers and our more experienced staff are passing on their experience to the 'young uns'.
We at 123RF appreciate the camaraderie here and the very honest comments, suggestions, criticisms and feedback. I'm sure you'll agree that there's so much to do and so much more to accomplish! Summer 2011 will be a big leap for 123RF as we open new sales channels and introduce new products in our line up. We really want to hit the ground running come autumn and lets really break some records this time around.
Stick with us, for a better future together. There's a saying, "Without you, there's no US!"
Alex

You can still see the number of downloads on the respective image detail pages. And your downloads for each image for a given month too. Here's the link: http://www.123rf.com/submit/downloaded_stats.phpThank you!

Hi All,
When no rejection has been given its usually due to "improper" processing hence we ourselves can't see the image that you're trying to send us.
Hence, no reason is given.
This could be due to: 1. Broken processing as during upload only some part of the file was successfully uploaded. 2. Broken uploads with FTP. 3. Corrupted image during processing. 4. Too large a file was uploaded.
You can always email us to ask why a reason wasn't given but usually it's due to the above.
Thanks very much!
Alex.

Sorry All,
We had a bit of a problem with FTP and some FTP processing over the weekend. But I was assured that it has been fixed.
Can you please try once more and we'll try better this time?
Thank you for your patience.
Alex.

A lot of their rejections were always my best sellers on the other sites.
Can we have some examples? Links to the said best sellers perhaps? If our review standards need tweaking, no worries, we can make sure of that but without a reference point, it'll be difficult. Thanks for your help. Alex.

@lagereek - please send me your 123RF UID and i'll personally look at your rejected items.
I'll go reverse the rejections and discuss directions with the review team if it becomes necessary.
Thank you very much.

Ayzek,
I've looked at your submitted ID. We are also required to determine your age from your submitted ID. Unfortunately, the ID you submitted doesn't contain any date of birth information, therefore, we will not approve your contributor account until then.
Can you please submit a different ID with your DoB clearly shown on it?
Thank you very much.
Alex.

Officially it's until March 31, 2011. However, the very last date we can wire money to the fund is April 9, 2011. So we're trying to maximize the length of time Alex

Hi all, We will promote all the images on Facebook, Twitter as well as special sitemail, blogs and newsletters. The License shall be under an RF or Editorial nature - depends on the Content. @phil just submit them to [email protected], we'll help you do the rest. Any image will do really, we just had a theme going because we want Red Cross to know that our cause is a noble one. A new image is much more preferable, it's easier to manage it that way. (I know you may want to remove the image later once the campaign is over, and then accept it into your own portfolio). Thanks everyone, we hope we manage to get some good donations going here. Alex. for 123RF.com

Thank you for your input.
ALL commissions to that account shall go to the Red Cross. + 123RF Limited will match the commission value as our own contribution.
Example, commissions total up to $500, 123RF shall also donate $500, making it $1000 to the Red Cross.
I hope that's sufficiently clear. 123RF.com has always split 50%-50% Nett commissions (credits) and paid $0.36/download for subscriptions with our contributors.
There is no element of "gain" or "profit" from this. We didn't even do any Press Releases. This is totally from our hearts. This is a donation drive, it is only proper that everything should go to charity. Correct?
Thank you.
Alex.
