I decided to try Dts keymasterprogram a few weeks ago. I checked it up today and was surprised. A 3d render of a megaphone with a cord and microphone. Keywords are: 3d, abstract, art, artistic, artistry, artwork, background, blue, button, design, designing, device, graphic, illustrated, illustration, instrument, loud, lodspeaker, mic pattern, speaker, wire Half of them are questionable but the rest is a joke And they cannot be edited by me until reviewed by Dts editors ?? Strange that its approved and up for sale before that?

Or push "shadow/highlights" and play around with settings for 10 sec. ONE image contains same amount of info nomatter what u do. Merge or no merge.

What I understand, its the tonemapping that is different (easier) with these softwares. Im not sure how to get same result in Ps though...

In a queue of 10 images with 114h reviewtime there is one in the middle with "Image under review". Thats weird !!
And no exclusive box was ticked by mistake...

Whitechild@ It feels very much that could be done without a hdr software. Maybe "shadow highlights" in Ps. Or like a simple composite of two exposures with layermask. But ofcourse I havent seen the original.

Quality should be ok if Istock approved them. Could be "no commercial" or something like that. What was it?

I was going through my rejections at Istock when I came to think about all rejected files they keep in case of reconsideration by scout. How long they keep them for?
There must be milions of images stored just in case. Seems stupid or am I missing something?

I havent read the whole thread.
Not many jobs keep paying you after you quit. Thats a positive thing about this.

My guess is they didnt pay much or anything at all. They would not link back to Istock so heavily if that was the case.
Would like to hear what Istocks say about this. No need to crash the house before they can defend themself...

This was probably a mistake Leaf. Posting what computer to buy among computer-tech freaks buy it ! The i7 are amazing. 64 bit problems exist but will be fixed. Tip: On my old 32 bit I changed something so each app could use 3Gig memory instead of 2. (search 3gig switch) Maybe useful for someone.

Are u "IN" or are you trying to get in? If youre trying to pass the test. Id recommend you to go with something simpler. Just make sure its sharp as hell without added sharpening, and correct whitebalance. Also go out from your house. Im sure they reject automaticly if they see stuff from your office / house Usb cord, coffecup, pen, your own socks (kidding)... Good luck

I played with fire and a plastic bag in a forrest with dry grass and pinetrees. Boom and the whole area was on fire I ran home and cried, and mom alarmed the firedepartment and guided them all wrong in panic. When they finally arrived, dad had it all under control. Luckily there was some rocks in the right place and no wind.... New underwear for me...

Besides, what's exclusive in photos that have been sold everywhere else before you went exclusive ?
Not being able to buy same photos elsewear. And within Istock theyre sold again and again and again, so a few sold before doesnt matter right?

...Fotolia would never recover from a change like this. They put so much time in their category system
And I put so much time into categorizing for Fototlia, for so few sales. And they send me these breathless, excited emails telling me that a Premier Subscriber has just purchased one of my photos, size XL, and I get 25 cents.
There is an option to turn the emails off. But it seems you should turn Fotolia off instead;)
