Thank you for your responses! I have never had this problem before and am also waiting for a response from support. Whenever I click on converting credits I'm sent to the tax forms which I have updated. There is no longer an option for converting to payment method. Ugh.

I am having a heck of a time trying convert my credits to a payout at FT, I've searched all over but can't find the payout area? I am at payout level, of course I've searched all FT "help" areas and can't find directions. Any direction would be greatly appreciated :)

I'm just curious, why is everyone taking the time to manually remove each image in their portfolio?

I got my last payout and am opted out of subscriptions.  My stuff was never put on Thinkstock.  Why spend hours removing them when they are just sitting there not hurting anything?

That's what I thought too, I was opted out of subscriptions, but they still sent a batch of mine to Thinkstock (about 130 out of 8000 ) but it scared me enough to delete them all.

I rec'd an email from "Sebastian" telling me I had to delete my images in order to get my final payout.

Which I am still un-patiently waiting for.

When I last contacted 123 they also told me they had some accounting issues and to be patient.  I have been up to this point but now I would like my payment.  I know my $50 threshhold was cleared but no payment in February.  Maybe it will fall into the March cycle.  Would be nice if they would keep us informed.

123RF / No Response, No Money
« on: March 09, 2010, 12:48 »
I just had an interesting conversation with a customer service rep at 123rf.  Would not transfer me to anyone regarding a contributor account.  Said that I needed to continue emailing regarding my payout which is over a month late.  I have emailed numerous times with no response.  She then told me she is not allowed to transfer me (contributors) to her supervisor.  I am quickly getting tired of this would really like my payment.

Any ideas?

I find this forum the most worthwhile even with an occasional opinion I might not agree with ;)

I have tried to email support there today but can not get past the security code. I am always told that I entered it wrong when I haven't! First time I haven't rec'd my payment there by the 17th and starting to wonder. Just wanted to send an email to ask but couldn't do it!

Unable to log in and my images weren't deleted prior either. Ugh.

I haven't had any sales at all for JIU in February.  Has anyone else?  I assumed they were closed down...

I had a ppd sale today actually....sigh.

It has been too long since I've been here! As usual I find my "issues" being discussed by none other than Ms. LisaFX :)

That's me - always griping about something ;)

Welcome back NYT!

Still waiting.  I tried writing support but no answer there yet either.

Thank you LFX  ;D

No response from StockXpert and still waiting...ugh. Hard to believe they actually called me once when I emailed w/a smaller issue.

I've been waiting for a StockXpert payout since 1/1...via PP. Did you ever get yours??

Thanks!

Cameras / Lenses / Refurbished From Adorama. Your take?
« on: August 03, 2009, 17:03 »
My 40D was damaged recently and insurance is working to replace it.  I have been looking into the refurbished models at Adorama.  Anyone have experience or opinion on a refurbished piece of equipment?

I realize this has been well cover but it really is unfortunate to loose JIU thru StockXpert and possibly StockXpert all together. >:(

Lisa,
I think when you filed for a corporate ID number and registered your Corp. with an address in Florida, you tripped the wire.

I suspect you are right Roadrunner.  The timing is awfully coincidental...

Wow...wow...wow Lisa! Thanks for posting this...yet another rug being pulled under someone, hate to hear it. Now I have to find out how Arizona stands on this.

I don't have tens of thousands of images, but I have nearly 5k on StockXpert (approx same ones as on istock) and they are going to lose them all from Photos/JIU because I cannot bring myself to swallow this .05/DL slap in the face from Getty.

I see this as a test... if you were to accept the 5 cent decrease the industry will learn that you will accept pennies for photos. I will not opt into IS. I am sad to see this happen to StockXpert, even with their problems they were responsive and friendly. My sales also seem to strictly come from JIU & Photos.com so I'm sure everything will drop to nothing...I have also already seen a decline.

I also wonder how this affects the end user who has a contract with the StockXpert three?

Adobe Stock / Re: Can't get Fotolia to load...
« on: April 02, 2009, 12:35 »
you're using the updated version of firefox, right?
i got that too. the problem is with fotolia's flash on the home page, firefox just takes forever to log in to fotolia.
try to deactivate the flash. it's a pain these new flash things. it's all over the place.. yahoo news,etc...  what i do is i right click to not load these flash pain in the rear garbage.  a total distraction if you ask me. all flash and no substance literally. ::)

I am using firefox and tried this but still only get a blank screen :'(

Is anyone else having problems trying to get Fotolia to load?  I click on any/all links to fotolia and it just comes up with a blank screen that says "Done" at the bottom left? I've cleared my cache, rebooted, tried everything and nothing works.

Thanks and regards
Penny

I have been having the exact same problem for a couple of days now. Has it cleared for you...if so did you change something that worked??

Off Topic / Re: Sean Goldman
« on: March 17, 2009, 19:14 »
This is a very troublesome story indeed. I saw the dad on tv a few weeks back and at that time he had seen his son and they had some video of it I think but what you saw told you he hadn't seen his son until the 15th of March?

Now the story is widely known & political and very hard to know what actually has happened. Under normal circumstances you would expect the child to be automatically returned to his biological father so what are the ACTUAL issues I wonder? Why wouldn't he have been automatically reunited with his father after his mom was sadly lost? Only the actual parties will truly know.

Poor kid though.. hard enough to loose a parent without all this mess.
