You can mouseover the error message to see a detailed explanation and ways to fix it.
Thanks, that was helpful. For some reason, I've never noticed the tooltip on the status pane, only on the image thumbnails pane.

Quick question, how do I get around the "keywords in the description" warning for Dreamstime? I never get it when I upload via FTP or directly to the website and most certainly, my description does include keywords...

28
Ok, good to know. Thanks for that clarification!

29
Thanks, I've reset the password and was able to log in. I was surprised to see the balance details though. It shows some submissions that I wasn't aware of (like 123rf and Dreamstime) and doesn't show the hundred or so that got duplicated. Why would that be?

30
I get a notification that my password is incorrect... It's saved in my password manager, so I know that it's the one and only password I'd used on that page. It would definitely be important to see the stats in the account I do have access to, in the UI that I'm working with. Look forward to when you get to implement it. And if there is anything you can do to help with the password, that would be great.

31
You can check it in StockSubmitter dashboard: https://accounts.stocksubmitter.com/
M+ is using StockSubmitter subscription at the moment, as stated in the FAQ article :)

I can't log into that account anymore, after I got access to Microstockplus so I really have no way of knowing my stats.
But also, don't you think it's important to have some sort of feedback/notification to users to let them know they have run out of submissions, even if only to prevent these painful multiple submissions, like what I'm dealing with?

32
According to the logs, those files were uploaded to the agencies websites but you didn't have any submissions left so the system didn't submit them.
Probably you've submitted them manually but didn't change status to 'submitted' so the system assumed the files got lost by the agency and re-uploaded them after a week.
If you submit files manually please mark them as 'submitted' in the web interface.
How do I know whether or not I have submissions left? There wasn't anything in the UI to indicate that...

Sure thing.

It actually got uploaded to Alamy 5 times.

Uploaded to Depositphotos 3 times:
275482388
269238366
266739788

There are many more, but it's hard to sift through many similar images. Last 2 uploads on Alamy had 33, the previous 3 had 53, 13 and 53, in reverse chronological order. Not sure about Depositphotos as they don't batch the images.

Also, it's not doing it for the other agency where it has an incorrect status. For example, Shutterstock.

It's doing that only when the following conditions are met:
- files still have 'uploaded' status;
- the system NEVER seen them on the agency website;
- there are no other reasons for the submission to not happen (submissions are not used up, there are no parsing errors, etc.);
- a week has passed since the file been uploaded.

Something must be broken in the 2nd condition then: the files in my case have been uploaded repeatedly to both Alamy & Depositphotos. They have all had successful submissions earlier, so they should definitely have been "seen" on the agency website. Can you look into that?
The 4th rule explains why I've seen 4 uploads (roughly once a week since that batch was initially uploaded) on both Alamy & Depositphotos.

36
Probably the system doesn't see the files at the website and re-uploading them because it considers them lost by the agency.
You can assign the submitted status manually for the files to stop the system from re-uploading them.

Thanks, I'll try that. Any way to do that systematically?

Hi there, are there any known issues with duplicate uploads to Alamy? I've added about 100 photos to microstock.plus about a month ago and they keep getting re-uploaded on Alamy. I now have 4 instances, the 4th one having been uploaded to Alamy this morning. I haven't even logged into microstock.plus in a month as just came back from vacation!

I'm noticing an issue where the Description field in Bigstock and Shutterstock is getting populated with the Title field values from MS+(this isn't happening on Dreamstime for instance). As such, all my editorial photos got rejected since the title isn't formatted appropriately for the editorial submission. Is this a known issue? Is there a workaround at all?

How can I get access to your online beta? The webpage here (https://microstock.plus/beta) says that you aren't taking submissions but as of yesterday, my local app isn't able to connect to the login server. Two months earlier, on your Facebook page, I reported that the keywording stopped working but got no reply. Are you aware of these issues?
I'm on Mac and seems like there is no new version to update to, and the current online version is in beta, access to which is currently closed. I'm completely stuck!

123RF / Re: Photos stuck in pending approval since August
« on: November 16, 2018, 21:03 »
I actually ended up having a lengthy chat with their support after-all, took about 10 minutes for someone to come online. But they ended up pushing my images over to the review team, and, guess what, less than 24 hours later, all the images stuck have now been reviewed. I did see some rejections that I've never seen before, like "Poor composition"... And I don't think it's the case, nor do other agencies. But I'm not going to gripe about it. I also mentioned it to the chat bot/person that this issue is unacceptable and is a sign of disrespect to us, photographers. If we choose to allocate our time to do business with 123rf, so should 123rf. If not, there are plenty of agencies who approve within minutes (like BigStock) or 24 hours (like SS or Getty). She/it assured me that, while they were currently overwhelmed with the submissions (hire more people was my comment), the management was aware of it and was working on new tools for them. She/it didn't have any information on the ETA of when those tools would be available, which to me is another sign that this problem is not really being taken seriously. So... didn't see any reason to chat with a bot/person who is not a decision maker any longer. Not looking good from where I see it.

Yeah, I just tried their "live" chat, but it seems to be dead. And I did email them, haven't heard back though. Really shouldn't have to do that! I don't think I've ever emailed them before and I've been submitting there for at least 5 years, I think...

123RF / Photos stuck in pending approval since August
« on: November 16, 2018, 00:42 »
Anyone else have their photos stuck? Are they going out of business? I've been planning to drop them, but suddenly had better sales over the summer, so I began uploading again. Not a single photo has been reviewed since end of August

Dreamstime.com / Re: 1099 from Dreamstime & 123RF?
« on: March 23, 2018, 15:44 »
Thanks guys. I just confirmed that DT doesn't send out 1099's unless it's for >$599. I'm not there yet...
123rf still said they weren't ready and no ETA. May have to declare just the total amount as seen on the website, although last year there was a huge delta between what they reported on the site and in tax papers

Dreamstime.com / 1099 from Dreamstime & 123RF?
« on: March 22, 2018, 17:57 »
Has anyone gotten the 2017 1099 from Dreamstime yet? There is nothing in my Tax Center and no emails or snail mail documents sent by them. My accountant is pressuring me to close everything up and I am still waiting for these 2.

Already contacted their support. Dreamstime is ignoring me, but 123rf promised to have the forms ready by "early March", which obviously didn't happen.

123RF / Re: 0 sales
« on: May 18, 2017, 23:34 »
I've never had strong sales with 123rf but there has been a huge drop after March. I had an unusually high number of sales then, whole 10 sales both months! And now I've had 2 sales in April and May. That's back to the stats I had over 2 years ago, but I have since more than quadrupled my portfolio. Is it time to leave them? I feel like it's not worth my time uploading.

« on: January 01, 2012, 18:31 »
Alex, I have 33 images, earliest have been pending since 12/13! I had no idea about the comission structure change as I haven't received the email. Had I known, I would have uploaded more to meet the 150 limit!

Print on Demand Forum / Re: zazzle forum down?

stockastic, how are you doing on redbubble? Are you getting any sales? I pretty much gave up on it as I wasn't getting anything except for feedback from fellow artists but I do get sales at zazzle

Is anyone still having issues with the official Zazzle forum? I got locked out of posting yesterday... Their support links are not working either and one of the categories (Create Products) seems to have been deleted entirely.
Actually, now that I look closer, there have been no new posts since December 22nd...
