Got email with apology and clarification from Oringer and SS this morning. It was a mistake. Everybody calm down. "We want to reassure you that no further action is required from you."

Yeah, not doing that. They are going to have to tell me what to fix.
Exactly, I asked for the image ids. Otherwise you might fix what does not need fixing and not fix what in their view needs fixing.

Minimum payout is 100.-U$, that's enough to let it pass.

Last 2 batches 100% accepted and while sales have never been the best there, they are steady. Funny how we all perceive sites differently, I much prefer CanStockPhoto to some of the more shady sites that have cut commissions and keep changing things that make it harder for us to make money.
Agree. CanStockPhoto is still a steady, if not big, earner. I get a payout every month and no drama or BS. And yes, Duncan is there even tho he sold to another company a few years back. I don't remember what company bought them.
Reviews and moderate sales seem stable as usual. No complaints. Beats those outfits that promise you 80% of nothing.

Im with the Bridge to BS since day one. if I wasn't I wouldn't waste my time. BS used to be a very cool site and one of the first, they paid us 50 cents a DL. Tim and Dawn were great people. SS came along and killed it. Why they bought it is one of the great Mysteries.it started in a bedroom in Northern California.
Yep, as the old song goes, "Those were the days, me friend . ." Nice memories, it was one of my first sites. I started submitting there from my 5MP Canon P&S.

And as I understand it, that now means automatic distribution of images to Getty and Alamy. So for anyone already with Alamy that might be problematic. Why? How?
I guess because we will be competing with ourselves on Alamy, having the same images on Eyeem and Alamy.
Yes, you can call it competing, on the other hand having the same image twice, once in a collection, once in your own portfolio, may also increase the chance for it to be seen and bought.

Will their reviewing process still suck as bad as it did before the cuts?
So far zero improvement.

As far as I understand images for sale on eyeem marketplace are non-exclusive. If the image is selected for the eyeem collection on Getty then it is exclusive and cannot be sold anywhere else. Is that correct? Can somebody more in the know chime in please, thanks.

indeed the getty plan is not exclusive anymore. i wanted to ask you if the lack of the watermark is not a big issue here because i have seen many many wonderfulphotos you cant find on micros that arent protected at all.
Seems it still is. I just got this email from eyeem "Congratulations! One or more of your photos have been exclusively shortlisted to be included in The EyeEm Collection at Getty Images." In the license agreement it says, Your photos will be sold via Getty Images through their global network Youll make 50% of net revenue EyeEm receives from Getty. Photos can be licensed several times from different clients, and youll profit from each license purchased The photos in this Collection are under an exclusive distribution license. This means that they can only be sold and distributed via Getty Images and EyeEm Market So how can the deal be no longer exclusive? Confusing!

I do not know nothing about this "fast-track submission", what does it mean. I think I just upload like others.
It's the 500px mystery.

I got an email couple days ago "Your Marketplace submissions have been reviewed".
"Thank you for participating in the 500px Marketplace fast-track submission process! Our Content Team has been busy reviewing your photos and identified 0 images that need your attention before they are cleared for licensing."
Did you have to do anything to participate in the "fast-track submission process"?

Anyway, will contact support now to see what the deal is.
Good luck, I have written to them twice about this issue, only received evasive answers and no change of procedure (or lack of it).

Anyone happenned to sell photos that were not reviewed? I understand that it is possible but still if the buyer has a choice of several photos he would rather license the one that is available straight away rather then requesting the one that hasn't been reviewed..
Wondering if I should continue to upload..
My understanding is that they are available straight awAy, at least mine are available right away in marketplace
Exactly, these days few buyers will wait days until the licensing is worked out. I have only one tenth of my images that I uploaded to the marketplace reviewed, so I stopped uploading until they catch up a bit with their reviews. It is totally unclear what their system is regarding reviews.

I have lots of images waiting since November. I wrote support and they said somebody will look into it. Nothing ever happened. Reviews are non-existent at this point.

Not meaning to hijack the thread, and I know that in the past I have solved this problem BUT.....
having sent a low res pic with my watermark for community, where do I go to add a high res one for sale? My low res one has gone there.....!
500px have just sent me to their info page which seems to be out of date - or not resemble mine, anyway.
Help appreciated.....
Go to https://500px.com/settings/store and click on photos, there will be column "original photo" and one "high resolution photo", in the "high" column click on "choose file" and upload the hi-rez image.

One concern I have re 500px is the extremely slow review process, it takes them weeks to approve a few of my images for their marketplace.

a lot of sense Duncan. thanks
Ditto here, I'm staying opted in and will give it some time. I've been with Canstock since March 2005 and they have a good record of fairness.

Which partners are you opted into? I supply most directly so didn't tick any. I was hoping for some direct sales from zoonar.
I opted into Zoonar API, AGE fotostock, ddp images, picturemaxx, I left out Shutterstock and Alamy, because I'm contributor there. In Getty images and Fotofinder I'm not interested longer, so i opted out (received some cents from Getty Images each month). Have not decided yet, what I should do with Pixta. Most revenues come from Age fotostock and ddp images in my case, so I strongly recommend to opt in.
Thank you for this insight, I'll give it a shot.

A year before sales!! Wondered why I haven't had one since I started Z a few months ago. What's the point of bothering!
I'd give it a miss.

I never submit editorial content to P5. They don't seem to be set up for it.

Thank you for explaining, how do you know which photos are in Prime, which are in Core and reviewed and which are in Core and not reviewed? When I go the Profile page and click statistics, I can see a number under the Store tab, that's all.
