Hi
I'm considering going exclusive on Istock but I'm still not sure if it's worth it. Anyone who has become an exclusive contributor and can shed some light on this.
Does your earnings increase in a way that it's worth it??
I submit images to Istock, Shutterstock, Fotolia, Bigstock, 123RF and Dreamstime. Decent earnings from IS, SS and FT. I'm curious if it's possible to make more money on Istock alone then all of them together? Would be nice to have only one agency to upload to, but I hesitate because I can't see how Istock alone can generate more income than all of them together.

Any thoughts and experiences???

Best
Pelle.........feeling uncertain

don't waist your time!!! istock don't want exclusive, they are promoting no exclusive content since 2 years...and you have no perks if you become exclusive...your download also will decrease bc your files are more expensive !!!

I received my new ESP login, but the the link led me to an error page... Anyone else having this problem?

a lot of people are in your same situation....don't complain here...go on the forum and scream!!

No wonder I am doing so very bad on iStock. I only sold 2 images in six months. And not one of my bestsellers that sell on SS and Fotolia. The 2 sales I had about 4 months ago. Ever since nothing.

i'm sorry but with 2 sales in six months you do not statistic...it is just luck if you get a sale..dont waste time with microstock

Am I doing something wrong? I have just noticed that many of my images on iStock have 0 views. I am not exclusive with them.

all the new content has 0 view...they screwed up the best match...so now you find just the old stuff in front

As an independent no. I reached Black diamond rank a few months ago and right now I haven't had one single download for 4 days. Thats how " good " it is so you have to judge for yourself.

not a very nice experience!!

Hell, they re-licensed my files after I was booted.
are you jokin' ?

i can't understand how exclusives can stay there... they are treated like idiots
at least in shutterstock we get peanuts but we are all at the same level

i noticed an increment of sales as indie on istock in the past weeks . is it only to me ?

call the istock free international toll and ask to talk to someone of the accounting in istock...
i think it is not a payoneer matter

sales on istock are very low at the moment....and the best match seems that is pushing ahead essential and very old images...

17
they should pay at least from 1$ to 1,75$ for each signature to be fair with whom who get the 40% and it is exclusive.
and from 2,5$ to 3,5$ for the signature+...

they like to cheat us with financial tricks as always...i'm not surprised.

the same has been happened here in the previous days....i think it's all about best match...unfortunately Istock is speculating with best match to average sales with all contributor to reduce complains

ghost sales are all subscription downloads
No, no, no.   You're wrong.

look at your sub sales of april to have the confirmation ;)
trust me ..are all sub sales that will be payed the next month

21
Gio remember also that they usually publicize in their social images of ex exclusive become now signature where they get more being you indie.. Btw it is a nice picture!

Mind you 2 things :

1) only the views done with the old ADP are recorded
2) ghost sales are all subscription downloads

Take care

Based on my portfolio there was a significant Best Match shift last night. Maybe this will help.

in favor of what ? old files again ?
I don't have enough data to decide what the shift was, but I have been making some sales of my old 2003-2006 stuff of late. It's time for me to go very dry I fear.

probably not recording the views for new files with the new ADP is the reason of why you have sold a lot of old stuff...new contents are lost somewhere...

it is almost useless and pointless upload right now on istock....views are not counted (with the new ADP) and new uploads are getting lost on the best match,
sales are crashed since mid april like never before and also the new search engine visualization is less user friendly than before...but they believe to be still the leader on the market !! ahhaha...

i'd like to know who is the wizard at the head of all this disaster !!!

Alexarank represent pretty well the trend of istock...
