Most of my refused images are "Lack of Composition".  Im photographing nearly 30 years and i know the Rules of "Golden Ratio" very well, but sometimes you have to break this Rule for a better pic (e.g. symmetrical Shots...). The Inspectors on DT only live for and with that Rule. Poor Boy, they are so inflexible. BTW: All the refused Photos selling well on IS. Whats your opinion?

Hi there, i dont really unterstand the ETR. Sometimes it shows 2 hours for the whole day and sometimes "n/a - Image under review" going back to "hours"!!?? For a few days over ftp uploaded images, that only needs keyword etc. and then are submitted, have an instant review and the other images still waiting. Can somebody explain it to me. Im not in a hurry, but thats not comprehensible for me.

Ive also never had any problem with Nikon for nearly 30 Years (FE2, F3, F4, F801, F80, D70, D200 and last but not least D2Xs).

Thank you all for your responses. Yesterday i had my 1st DL (0,35$)  . How can i call attention for my portfolio. Are DT-Lightboxes (private lbx on IS) and Collections (public lbx on IS) a good way or do you know a better way?

Every Day DTs Homepage is down. Sometimes for Minutes, sometimes for Hours. How can you sell Images, if the page is down. Its absolutely annoying, almost as on IS.

Thank you Tyler, for your quick response. How long does it take for the 1st DL? What youre thinking about my portfolio. Im not really a stockphotographer (means product-photos, studio-pics). I prefer landscapes, macros and abstract images. So i dont know, if ive any chance on SS.

Hallo miteinander,
mich verwundert als "Neuling" hier, dass keine Eintrge im deutschen Forum sind.
Okay, ich verschlagworte auf IS und DT auch in Englisch bzw. stelle mir die Seite auf Englisch ein, aber fr ein Treffen in Mnchen mit Erfahrungsaustausch ber Stockfotografie, Exklusivitt und ein Bierchen wrde die deutsche Muttersprache ausreichen.
Also wenn wer Lust und Zeit hat, soll er hier "posten" oder mir eine Site-Mail in IS einstellen.

Hi there,
im new on DT. Do you think its a good idea, uploading parts of my IS portfolio to DT or is it better uploading to other agencies? 1st attempt on SS 6 von 10 are accepted. Have to wait 23 days for the next trial.

Resolution: Firmware suggests 6,048 x 4,032 (24.4 MP) and 5:4 at 5,056 x 4,032.
Frame Rate: Extrapolation tells us a D3X will be 5FPS; 8 FPS in DX crop.
Nikon's botched v1.10 firmware for the D3 of 15 April 2008 confirms the D3X as 24.4MP
In der Firmware zur D3 - Teil B - findet sich u.a. folgende Sequenz in mehreren Sprachen, die offensichtlich aus den Menstrukturen stammt:
Fertig 6048 x 4032 (24,4 M) 4544 x 3024 (13,7 M) 3024 x 2016 ( 6,1 M) 5056 x 4032 (20,4 M) 3792 x 3024 (11,5 M) 2528 x 2016 ( 5,1 M) 3968 x 2640 (10,5 M) 2976 x 1976 ( 5,9 M) 1984 x 1320 ( 2,6 M) Die Firmware kann mit den gegenwrtigen Einstellungen nicht aufgerstet werden. Es knnen nur Bilder im NEF-(RAW-) oder JPEG-Format ausgewhlt werden, die mit einer D3X aufgenommen wurden. NCD3X OK

Ive had cancelled my exclusivity, because istock have too much probs with server and so on. BTW: Without IS you can also have a getty-contract. Read it on there homepage.

I resubmit on IS those pics e.g. "not suitable for stock" etc. and at the 2nd time those images were accepted. It depends on the inspectors.

Hi Peter,
dont know if you want to use it on a Sigma, Nikon or Canon. I use the 4.0/12-24mm Tokina lens on a Nikon D2Xs. Its absolutely amazing and much cheaper than the original Nikon lens, but it can be used only with DX-Sensor-Cameras.
