General Stock Discussion / How do you define identifiable???
« on: July 29, 2006, 23:04 »
Do we normally need a model release for a person who is photographed side viewed? Or if only the nose up is included? Does this constitute "identifiable"??

Any ideas how far the silk cloth should be from the glass of the floodlights so as not to be burned when exposd for a long period of time??

You can get pretty close. I tried a few different materials within a foot or so of the lights and they were alright.

Legalese: If you burn your house down it ain't my fault. ;)

Ha ha ha ... don't worry... I'm too far away from you to sue you ... LOL..

I guess i'll try the two 500 watts first and see what happens. I'm going for the suggestion of leaf on th improvised diffuser. Any ideas how far the silk cloth should be from the glass of the floodlights so as not to be burned when exposd for a long period of time??

Thanks leaf... the next available lower powered bulb in the hardware I looked at is a 150watts. I was trying to look for at least a 250w but to no avail.

I'll make the diffuser you suggested. Thanks. :D

Hi ... newbie here. I just want to ask all you experts out there if I can use a 500 watts hallogen flood lights for my lighting setup. If so, what improvised light diffuser can I use. Thanks. ???

After not getting any response from the administrators of this site, Okay, so here's what I did: I deleted most of the file names, and then deleted key words and put see, shutterstock, fotolia, featurepics, canstock, 123rrf and maybe others. Do you think that will get my gallery deleted???? search "visit" and see what comes up.

Sometimes you just got to get things in hand.

Ian

Yup .. did a search using "fotolia" and pictures came up. Let's see if somebody's really taking care of the pictures there...  :-\

I don't understand these levels. Doesn't it seem backwards? I mean the more it's downloaded I would think it would become cheaper not more expensive. I would think it would be more valuable as a novel image rather than an oft seen one.

I think DT beleives that the  number of downloads for an image directly reflects its popularity. In the business sense, the more popular your image is, the higher the potential value it has. I think DT designed it that way so that the value of our images do not deteriorate by getting cheaper everytime they're downloaded but instead increases to signify that the're popular and thus have a high demand.
