Hope I will achieve it soon and see what happens at I stock. And if they not approve my application next time I will try again and again and again... LOL
No serious, I feel more comfortable drawing in illustrator as a couple of months ago.... one time I will reach a level that I know every feature in illustrator and be able to use them perfectly....but for now a lot of practise.(and I don't mind) I'm lucky most agencies accept my vector/illustration stuff . I think in the past months my digital art has improved it will only get better in time.

I have also this kind of rejection reason: Overfiltered from it's original appearance.... The only thing I did was convert an EPS file to JPG file (just straight no filters no nothing) The illustration is still pending in the scout area .....I hope scout knows what to do.
Why not upload it as vector ? Why convert from EPS ?
Because I stock don't want my vectors....each time the same kind of rejection reason:not what they are looking for. I know my vectors are not the best and I'm still learning the digital art stuff but as long as I stock don't approve my vector application I try to submit some of them as raster illustration. Only the one I think will do great as raster illustrations.... I stock already accept two of my illustrations sofar I send (I think if I send those as EPS they will get rejected again for :not what they looking for) But he you have to try something....

My thoughts::::
It took 7 days or more to review my submitted batch a combination of vectors and photos. Some vectors got rejected I still don't understand why : not suitable for stock (some are big runners on other agencies, even I stock accepted some raster version of it) Some needed work: KEYWORD THING I still don't know wich keywords were bad....
I will see what the future brings....I think not bad it's almost like any other agency with their own prefference.
One thing bothered me was the editing application .....When you click for editing it looks like the page is shuffeling.... after 50 pictures my eyes hurt.

Strange that Photocase ranking is low..... I have only a few images on line 5 or 6 and the sales are better than most higher ranking agencies were I have over 500 images on line....

A little suggestion: Maybe the site could co-operate/partner with another site that doesn't sell illustrations....like Photocase Or co-operate/partner with site that sells only illustrations or vectors....
BTW I've been told Jamie knows how to sell and promote the stuff very good...................................................................................................

I can't delete the my only 2 straight away approved images.....LOL rest all rejected for not saved at 300dpi (In a strange way the were all saved at 240dpi) and on some I must edit some keywords. The rest I did removed last night it's taking to long and to much time to edit..... I just asked them to remove my account but even the contact form will not co-operate.....
Last update: I just had some e-mail contact with Kate (very nice and helpful) I let my two accepted up. And she will let us know when the upload/editing system will be much more efficient. Thanks Kate... Hope it will be soon.

But is it worth going through the cumbersome edit stuff ?

Hi all, Last week I got an invitation to submit my images to moodboard.... So I did send them about 400+ images (ftp) I submitted only 50, most of them got this notification resubmit at 300dpi. The fun part I always as far as I know saved every image on 300dpi..... Also rejection reason for keywording (they are pickier as I stock) ? I deleted today al my images it's to hard to edit (to much work to go through 400+images editing) Is this site evolving in the future and is it worth to go through this editing stuff or should I leave the site for what it is...... Has some one experience with this site ? good or bad.....

Sorry Dennis I will not leave....... I give every agency one year time........... I said nothing bad about clipart I have only something against your promotional thing TO EAGER ...... I don't understand your way of promoting an agency unless your gaining something from it.....That's all.... Bye Bye....

I'm thinking if it's all worth .......sofar no sales for me, new uploads are still pending,I see a lot of new artists with a empty portfolio...... I know it's hard work for Jamie and crew I was glad that they accept me in to the agency but now it makes me wonder if it was the best step to make ......
@ Dennis it looks if your sales was dropping because so many new artists steel your DL......LOL I know you have your best intentions but you look to eager.....

Hi Dennis
If it's vector I guess SS is an ideal choice sales are well there, easy to upload, fast to approved by the way I was asking the same question few months ago and I discover that IST is my "Live Land" but SS is very nice site for a start Good luck .. Sam
Yes all vector, I don't know if the take just jpegs of cartoons.
BTW what do you mean with easy .....easy in acceptance, easy to make some money, easy to upload... For VECTOR submission on SS you need an EPS file and corresponding JPG version with the same name. You could also submit the JPG version. Alot of us do both ..... Keep in mind not to submit both versions in the same BATCH otherwise the will reject for simelar submisions. Most agencies accept only one version either Vector or JPG version.

In your workspace on your VEER account there were you must submit you could click on FTP help and you will see this info:
If you plan to upload many files, you can save time by using FTP client software. We suggest FileZilla or Core FTP (for Windows) and Transmit or Fetch (for Mac OS). These programs support the type of secure connection required.
Important: If you use your Workspace (to browse, click buttons, refresh the page, etc.) while your images are uploading by FTP, your images may be corrupted. This is a temporary issue that we are working to resolve.
Host Name upload.veer.com
Username Your username is the same as your Veer account sign-in name.
Password Your password is the same as your Veer account password.
Server Type FTP over explicit TLS/SSL

Congrats Kaycee!
I had my initial 10 vectrors review on Veer Marketplace and it says:
" There has been new activity on your Veer Marketplace contributor account.
Here is a summary of your contributor statistics:
Approved: 10 "
So, I believe they need my illustrations 'in terms of composition, use of BLAH BLAH and stock value so BLAH BLAH...
It is all in Competition - what else to say ;-)
Congratz to make to Veer... I'm still struggeling with my account (can't login anymore) The fun part of my two vectors/raster halftone dancing was rejected by vivozoom with this reason :Image does not meet our quality standard and rejected by Crestock for the reason of composition...So I thought it never would be accepted by Istock...I guessed wrong this time...

If one agency don't want your stuff pick another agency who will ....

Hi All, I don't know anymore... I just signed up with another US agencie ...and indeed I must fill the W8BEN form but I didn't need to fill in the ITIN number they said :Just your legal name, address and signature. We do not withhold taxes. So if this company could do it why is it not possible for Shutterstock?
