I dont mind the image either but I do see where your coming from. Ive had people images rejected for being over filtered and have seen many images even more than mine and wonder why thats accepted and mines not. But that cant be helped and its all part of it.

Patience is the key oh and saying key then keywords are also the important bit. As said above youll only see immediate sales normally on shutterstock but im sure more will be coming on other sites in time

General Stock Discussion / Re: Stockxpert going down?« on: April 13, 2009, 03:33 »
Tough times with the recession. StockXpert seemed to be a good site but sales have totally dried up for me as if nobody goes on there anymore. Hopefully it will ride out the storm and in the near future sales start to increase again

How on earth did a group discussion on a sale making a member $26 get onto a insulting match.
So im going to say well done again Ivan hopefully a few of those sales will be coming my way soon 35

Photo Critique / Re: What do you think..good or bad?« on: April 05, 2009, 08:23 »
I think your last 2 shots are definately your best ones. I agree with whitechild and the others at the same time. I think FT are pathetic in there reasons for rejection and all the threads by so many people on here show that. Looking at the images though I do agree the first 2 isolations needed to be a bit closer and the pink boots look a bit dirty. The first animal shot you could just tell FT would reject as they reject much better shots than that one.
Dont be discouraged if they have been accepted elsewhere then be happy that they are up for sale somewhere and havnt just been rejected by all agencies. I think we all get puzzled at some point when FT reject certain images. They are not bad images at all just obviously not what FT want so move on and keep shooting 42

Adobe Stock / Re: I am so sick of Fotolia rejects..« on: April 04, 2009, 17:53 »
Im sure loads of people share your frustration including me. All I can think is trying to be positive is that fotolia feel like they have so many online files now that they are getting much stricter as they want more unique images. If thats not then case then I dont no

Photo Critique / Re: Do I need to crop out dead space in isolation?« on: April 04, 2009, 12:44 »
I always keep the dead space as it can be used by the designer. The buyer can crop the image if they want to

Adobe Stock / Re: Fotolia Rejections - Thinking of closing account« on: April 02, 2009, 14:23 »

General Stock Discussion / Re: Inspiration?« on: April 02, 2009, 07:52 »
I get inspired when I see such a simple image sell by the bucket loads. Makes you realise you dont have to think and plan for ages what sells just go out take some shots and the worst of all the images you took could end up being your biggest seller
