I know that diff sites favor diff photographers depending on images etc but to see such a similar trend from so many people must show that something needs to be done about these sites. I agree totally with the inconsistent rejections

Ahh good after submitting my votes im glad to see fotolia there. I have been on that site longer than any other stock site yet sales are lower much lower in fact than all others.

A magical extended licence to all my images I like how istock have the dollar bin so I think every image that hasnt sold for 2 years gets automatically put into a dollar bin for 30 days. If it sells a certain number of times it gets put bk into your portfolio otherwise the image is deleted

ive had that a few times actually. Always a smaller size sells then 2 mins later a larger files sells of the same image

Yup I do. I have one image of a lizards eye with 30+ dls and the next biggest seller only has 9 and the lizard is selling all the time. Its on my istock port if anyone wants to go see http://www.istockphoto.com/file_closeup.php?id=6766178On ss the image has 100 sales and the next biggest only 30 so it is definately way above the rest in my portfolios

this week alone has proven my tuesday theory. On SS monday 1 sale tuesday 12 sales wednesday 1 sale thurs so far 2 sales.

Ive noticed over the months looking at all the sites I sell on that Tuesdays tend to be my best day by a mile. When I compare tuesday sales to others they dont even nearly compare.
Do any of you have a day that stands above the rest with sales?

Hey I recently joined alamy a couple of weeks ago and am slowly building up a portfolio on there. I was just wondering how successful you lot are on there. Im not asking to tell me any financials I just would like to know roughly how many images a month you sell?
Reason im asking is because firstly the price the images go for sure surely buyers would go to microstock agencies and before you say yes I know the size of the images are larger on alamy. I just generally want an idea of how sales are on the site

Its probably Shank with a secret account If not then thats rubbish without any proof. DT is the smoothest running, has the friendliest people and sales are always consitent so I suggest you give us some actual proof of people quitting and these so called internal conflicts

blimey I made this post ages ago totally forgot about it lol. Thanks for all your kind words, I do plan on getting my own domain was just to get started off as I wanted something quick and easy just to be able to get people seeing my work
