I changed to 1.3.7 tonight, and uploaded 4 images that went OK. Then tried an additional 3 images, after uploading tried to process, got a error 3 times saying Invalid Date - must be YYYY-MM-DD format. After refreshing the page, the images are under all images. After editing the images, then pressing Publish, I get the same error on a blank page, but after reloading the page, the updates are kept.
Any ideas?

I was curious about this as well, but I think I remember a discussion here where it was said that clipping paths are only retained on the "native" sized images on the agencies as well, so the "resized" versions somehow lost the clipping path. At Istock a message by Sean Locke says "The clipping path is only included in the largest version available. This is a point of contention here at times. My experience was with Adobe cloud not a boxed version, during January when I upgraded a motherboard. It wasn't too much of a hassle, but it wasn't automatic like you suggested.

They allow 2 computers, so a laptop and desktop are acceptable. If you have a computer hardware problem, like in my case I upgraded a motherboard, and didn't deactivate the software package first, you will have to call them or use the chat to allow the upgraded computer to use the software.

They changed the "rules" a couple of years ago. It is likely that if you look at the image numbers of pictures similar to yours, you will find that they are from several years ago or later. It is possible that a few may slip in today, but overall they reject most architectural shots without a property release. They have a post in their general submit forum http://submit.shutterstock.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=80843 with 4 pages of comments. You could try submitting them as "editorial use" using their caption format.

Well, I spoke too soon. The comments are not showing on some images and are showing on other images, some with the same publish date. I can't figure out where they have been turned on the individual images. Frustrating......

I tried post 12 and either it didn't "stick" the first time I tried that or there is some "lag" in making the change, but it works now.
Thanks Cathy

I thought I had the comments all off, but they are still showing up on the individual image pages. I am on bluehost if that matters. Any ideas?

Leo,
Thanks for the video link on the widget use. I am amazed that is that easy.

Leo, Can you briefly describe how you made the images show up on bottom as featured and recent? I have been wondering about that all weekend.

Thanks Leo!
The video did the trick, I hadn't noticed the URL box on the right side. I tried using the one listed on left, and it wouldn't work. But after a few seconds of your video I saw you use the URL on the right side, and now it works.
Setting this up may not be a good idea when one is really tired, but I wanted to make some progress.

Cathy,
I tried your steps, but nothing shows up? The default logo disappears, but mine won't show up. I upload the media file, then use the edit to show the URL, copy and paste that into the symbio header, but it won't show up. If I delete my URL, the default one shows back up. Any other ideas?

I usually just choose an existing card that is the same style, click customize button, change image, then click post for sale; then change title and description, set the category then done.
That way I don't have to retype all those text fields every time.

From Zazzles FAQ on royalties http://www.zazzle.com/sell/designers/nameyourroyaltyExample 1 Royalty set < 20%
On a t-shirt with site price of $13.75 and a 15% royalty markup, you would normally earn an (unadjusted) royalty of $2.06.
$13.75 x .15 = $2.06 rounded to the nearest cent
In the case of a referred sale, 20% is backed out of the unadjusted royalty.
20% x $2.06 = $0.41
By subtracting the referral fee from the unadjusted royalty rate, we can determine the adjusted royalty (the royalty amount you will be paid for this sale).
$2.06 - $0.41 = $1.65
In this example, you give up 41 cents of royalty in order to acquire that sale. The 20% referral fee is only backed out of your royalty calculation when there is a cost associated with acquiring that particular order. It is important to remember that although your royalty is slightly reduced, without the referral there would not have been any order at all! Unless you are talking about a different type of referral fee, this one appears to be paid by the artist.

I don't actually know how they account for the referral %. I do know that there can be vastly different sums paid on an item with the same dollar value when it is marked 3rd party. Some say that is due to a sale on Zazzle's end where the customer buys enough things on a single purchase to get a discount, then Zazzle spreads the discount around.

I also agree that 15% is too low. At 15% a 3rd party sell with one of their sales, could yield the artist very little in return.
Since Zazzle has started the 15% or less for inclusion in their promotions and sales, I haven't noticed a downturn in my business card sales that are priced at 30%. I did create some simpler cards for the 15% markup, but they don't seem to sell as well as the photo based business cards.

When you got to the step after rendering, but before saving, pressing the (triangle button)lower right side choose colors and alpha, did you see the background turn into a black and white square background, i.e. no background? Then you can save as a png that you can use in photoshop, to add a white background for an isolated object, or add into a composition.

Have you tried to change the output under the camera tab to png and choose RGBA button; render, then on the rendered window on the lower right side choose colors and alpha (triangle button), then save as image png
