The images are free for anyone who wants to take them, for up to 1500 pixels. I clicked on a  vertical image it was 1500 x 1000 pixels, No watermark. On the horizontal image I clicked the image was 1000 x 667 px, No watermark.

Why on earth would an online based company want to expand to America, knowing the amount of hassle it would bring to their contributors?

Don't worry about AR on DT. As my AR increases my earnings decrease. I miss the days of low AR and nice earnings.

Selling within 24 hours after going online was extremely common a few years back on shutterstock. Now it's so surprising that it's worth a thread.

That's freaky. You could get a pigeon to deliver a note to them. Another method is by using a telephone.

One this month which is 100% increase on last month.  ;D

I should link to the beginning of the following post but this quote made me laugh.

I can't view them because my 6 month ban has been five years so far.

The last 5 years wouldn't take long to summarise.

A Getty moment is when you get to your office and you realise you have absolutely no work to do. Look at these people experiencing Getty moments.  :)

On the ther hand - it could be Port has no Commercial Value, but who knows..

But your sales on IS got only a bit more 10 dls, if those subs save you?How about subs working on IS? How do you upload your 1506 files into IS in few months?I just fiind you registered there in Jan this year.  ::)

So annoying when anonymous people comment on non-anonymous people's portfolios.

I think anyone is allowed to reply here so long as the reply is relevant to the subject. The subject is about the performance of the OP's files on the sites he mentioned.

General Stock Discussion / Re: Warning about Demotix

I then immediately went to delete my images from their account but the account doesn't allow you to just delete them as you wish...

You can delete images from your account, it's not straight forward, but it's not rocket science either.

I just noticed this on their site. "Demotix reserves the right to pursue unauthorised users of this content. If you violate our intellectual property you may be liable for: actual damages, loss of income, and profits you derive from the use of this image or clip, and, where appropriate, the costs of collection and/or statutory damages."

Did something happen at SS today?  The stock is down 5%.

You should have sold when the going was good.

TOS...RE=contributors payout. Quote from SS Forum.

1/. They foresee declining earnings for contributers and to keep contributers who may not reach the $75 threahold each month from getting discouraged and stop uploading they lower it

2/. It will be more of an incentive for new contributers to join thus growing their contributer base and growing there collection with fresh images ( think of third world content i.e. India) and this applies to point 1 as well

3/ this can also be prep work for possible commision declines in the future ?

In a way it is positive but it makes you wonder what may be coming down the pipe

This is all just speculation by someone who knows nothing more than any other contributor. Poor of you to post that here without a disclaimer.

Speculation in a forum?  :o

My "I understand" button doesn't work either.

I wonder if you have to click on the links first, before they allow you to understand. Some sites actually make you read the terms (or at least scroll down) before you can accept the terms. Or just try a different browser.

The link is a Google Trends comparison chart for search terms Shutterstock, Getty Images and istock. Absolutely shocking results. Not really.  ;)

Dreamstime.com / Re: New keyword limit??
« on: June 30, 2015, 06:16 »
Looks like they have fixed it already! It was supposed to have been set to 50, and not 30  :)

It's back at 80 keywords now. Apparently there was never supposed to be any change at all.

"We are sorry about this. Due to a small bug (which is now fixed) the limit was set to 30 keywords. Everything is back on track now. Thank you for understanding."

Why do they never have "bugs" which increase my earnings balance?  ???

"Sorry, but the page you were trying to view does not exist."

My feeling is they're going to add a part about increased royalties and then relaunch the page.  :-\

Thanks for the good laugh!

Humour was the intent.  :D

They should know that many of the contributors send to other agencies and keyword their images in IPTC before uploads.

I honestly don't think they know there are other agencies. ???

Thanks Striving.  We'll see you around....

Fuel, for some reason my account has been deleted at Stockfuel. I was owed money as well. None of my images are there and I cannot login. I sent a message to [email protected]. Maybe you can look into this.

They said 2015 was going to be exciting.  :o
