Mostphotos.com / Re: Who has had sales at MostPhotos?
« on: April 07, 2011, 03:49 »
Also got my first sale there after a year and a few months of selling nothing. They need to clean their image database, there are a lot of cr*ppy snapshots.

Very good month! BME on Shutterstock, Istock, Canstock, average month on Dreamstime, 123rf, Fotolia and Bigstock and two sales (and only) on Stockfresh.

Bigstock.com / Re: Sales at BS ???

Very slow. Only few bucks per month with over 2000 images. It's the only site I stopped uploading due the low sales and their ridiculous 7-words-description.

I'm curious about their answer.

There is another topic related to this.

Curious :)), those Dreamstime banners I didn't see..

I also noticed a large Stockfresh banner on failblog.org, a site I check almost daily.
Nice to see this and hopefully sales will pick up finally!

If you choose to work exclusive with DT, this means you can NOT sell your work on other agencies. Even rejected images or other files you can not upload on other stock sites. The upload bonus of 0.2$ you will get for each approved image whether it sells or not. You earnings will not grow instantly as soon as you opt for exclusivity, you probably saw that virtually comparison of your last 50 sales as a non-exclusive versus how it were your sales if you were exclusive.
Hope this helps

And they do have a nice marketing too, "at least 40% cheaper than IS"

I guess they were never alive

StockFresh / Re: Any News?
« on: February 11, 2011, 18:04 »
Been there since summer of 2010, I guess June or July, around 500 online images, no sales yet, very few views (20 max). Starting to lose patience...

I already uploaded two files to test the waters. I'm curious about the verdict.

Actually January was my BME with SS, FT, 123rf being BME indeed. Istock was solid, DT, average and the rest weak, just as usual. A pleasant suprirse was Veer which brought me a nice number of sales.
The big disappointments are Canstock, been there for half a year an they earned me only 4$ in this time; Crestock, since August 2008 and they earned me slightly more than 20$ since then, and Stockfresh, since July 2010, no sales and only 6-7 views for a portfolio of nearly 400 images...Not talking about Mostphotos, over a year and a big nothing. Only blah-blah

Adobe Stock / Re: Can not add my unsold files to free section
« on: January 28, 2011, 10:46 »
This offer is no more available on Fotolia website. I remember asking them about this and their answer was that this is no more an option for the unsold files (for more than 24 months).

What's our share at Veer? I couldn't find it

Pixmac / Re: Pixmac no longer a partner?
« on: January 17, 2011, 11:16 »
Yes, me. And that's a very good news. Pixmac is a very weird agency.

But this announcement makes me wonder, do they really have over 11.000.000 images as state on their frontpage?

Adobe Stock / Re: Slow Payments from Fotolia . . . again
« on: January 15, 2011, 18:52 »
I'm also waiting for a payment requested on 29th of December. I wrote them an email yesterday but so far they didn't bother to answer.
Next week is my birthday, I'm sure they want to surprise me and send me my money!
