General Stock Discussion / Re: Sales not showing up today in DT?

Yes! Also noticed that. But I'm upset. I just had a 10 credit sale refund :(

Two or three more sales today and no image showing..

Pixart, as far as I know, there are no level 6 images on Dreamstime. Level 5 is the higher one image can reach.

jbarber873 you are right, maybe here are the cheapest products in Romania but we also have very small earnings, if you understand.
There are a lot of romanians forced to live with the minimum salary, that would be 600 lei, around 200$ per month. The medium salary is around 1200-1500 lei, or 4-500$ monthly. That's not much money!

1$ for a MH (mega high) sale? Sorry, but that's way too low! I notice my commissions are lower day by day.

Dreamstime and Shutterstock imho

I also had a veeeery misterious sale a few weeks ago, I sold a XS image for 4.44$. But I kept my mouth shut, it's more money, not less. I never bothered to find out what happened  :D

Yeah, I will buy Getty, Alamy and Corbis! :))

I also asked them about that subscription sales and yes, I got a very fast answer too, From their first mail I didn't understand a lot and from their second, They told me it was a.....anyway, here's the message:

Hello Bogdan,

If you will notice at the top of the chart there, it states these are maximum values.

The download you received $0.42 for was made from a buyer who has the largest subscription. They have the 12 month up to 50 images per day for $3739.99, this makes it about $0.20 per download. Since this was a level 3, it would have taken 2 downloads.

Kind Regards,

...

As Stockastic stated, they have always a different version of sales, comissions etc.

Cclapper, I don't care about partner sites and whatsoever. In their pricing table it's clearly stated that an exclusive level 3 images sold with a subscription my revenue is 0.84$.

I just noticed I had a subscription sale of a level 3 image and my share was 0.42$ but 6 days before, I sold the same image, same level, same subscription, for 0.84$. Something is weird here.

Haha, what a coincidence, to me DT's statistics are down and 123rf's earnings page also down.

Worse from month to month and I stopped uploading a few weeks ago.
With a portfolio of over 2000 images, I sold a single photo this month!
Not good!

Not good for them!

Right, and I've seen a lot of very bad pictures there. Imagine something much worse than the weakest free files you cand find on Fotolia and Dreamstime free section. But on the other hand they have good photos also.

I will also leave MP in the near future. I'm with them for over a year now and they didn't sell me a single image!

123rf also accepts editorial.

Very disappointing! 0.24$ for a xl sale? Haha. I'm "only" 37$ away until next payout but in this rhythm I'll hit 50$ after 10-20 years.

Interesting point, dirkr. Almost two years I considered 123rf one of the best and loyal stock sites but recently I began to doubt this fact more and more. And yes, lately they took weird decisions (in my opinion), setting a new minimum resolution for images (first 8mp and then lowered to 6mp which indeed is a little high considering other major stock sites accepting 2 or 3 mp) and switching their forum to Facebook. I wonder how many active users on the 123rf forum are still active on FB discussions.
But anyway, like dirkr said, it's your business..

LE: I just checked the discussions on Facebook, seems that nobody is active.

DP will probably be the next site where I'll delete everything and never contribute to again!

I just had a "SMS sale" of a XL-size and my share was only 0.24$. Anyone experiencing the same? This is an insult, selling XL photos for 0.24$.
