Dreamstime.com / Deleting Unsold images
« on: December 21, 2021, 08:35 »
Hi guys,
I am sure the answer is inside somewhere but couldn't find it. Or let's say, there is not longer a bin on the lower right corner to delete the images (like described below).
Can someone tell how to delete unsold images?
DT doesn't give you that choice and my guess is that it's not possible, but who knows...
Thank you!

Ah d'accord, merci suz7.

Ohhh, thank you, I see now. All the native 4K have the same black bars.
That helps! Nothing wrong with my files...
Thanks a lot for your answer!

Hello,
I'm kind of puzzled by this. I uploaded some 4K footages and when looking at the preview, they come with horizontal black bars. The thumbnail looks fine but not the preview.
Here the screenshot of the "preview" and the export settings:
Thank you for your feedback!π

I didn't upload video for a couple of years now and I see the system changed. I understand I need to use the ESP through espaws website. I got that.
Now (and this I can't find online), do they still require you to send the HD, NTSC and PAL versions along with a thumbnail?
It's not clear as the latest videos uploaded on their site have different sizes that seem to be generated automatically.
So, do they still need the 3 formats or just one HD?
Thank you for your feedback!

OK, thanks, yes I really like that. Much easier! But it shows a question mark on "my upload" page in istock now. Not sure if it's good or what...

I am the only one here? I uploaded a bunch of images that need to be resubmitted for missing a detail >:(.
Now I am unable to either resubmit them or even can barely redo a fresh upload, I keep getting a BLANK page. Very annoying >:( >:(.
I work with Safari on a Mac, and tried with Chrome and same story. Anybody experienced the same and found a solution? I know it comes from their programming, but we never know. Thank you!

« on: February 27, 2014, 10:53 »
Kinda puzzled on that one. I pass $50 a while back and no payment. So I was wondering if we need to request it, and if we do I don't see where. Mmmm... Thanks!

iStockPhoto.com / Re: Istock Video - HD, NTSC & PAL???
« on: January 28, 2014, 11:06 »
I am on the same boat, I'd like to know also if it's useless to upload NTSC and PAL version. I believe with HD we can then reduce to other formats but that means buyers has to buy the HD in order to transform into what they want...

General - Top Sites / Re: Moving from USA to France
« on: January 24, 2014, 17:50 »
Thanks guys! I supposed the issue is only FT, the other agencies keep paying in US $, right? FT is a low earner for me and I am not doing the kind of images they like, so this particular agency is not a big issue, but I am kind of disappointed to loose in the whole industry. Loosing 30% is not nothing. I'll contact some French members. Thanks!

Did anybody experienced the move and what it implies in term of stock photography? If I understand, only FT will pay in , for the rest I will have to swallow the bad exchange rate (and it's pretty bad). So, I'd like to get some feedback of someone who went through that experience if possible and any advice is welcome. Thanks so much in advance!

Bigstock.com / Can't find my FTP upload
« on: January 08, 2014, 10:11 »
I have uploaded 100+ images through FTP since yesterday and they don't show up on their site. I haven't upload there for a couple of years now and wonder if there is something new I need to know. Looked everywhere on site though, but can't see my new uploaded images. Any hint? Thanks!

iStockPhoto.com / Video 30" duration question
« on: December 17, 2013, 11:37 »
I am trying to work on my video application sample, they request the videos not to be more than 30 seconds. OK, my duration is exactly 00:00:30:00 and has been refused (error message says "video's duration must be between 5 and 30 seconds"), then I reduced it to 00:00:29:23 and I still get the same message!
Anybody knows what is the "real" duration the video will be accepted?
Thanks!

General - Top Sites / Video question
« on: December 03, 2013, 12:31 »
I'd like to propose some video clips and I have a few questions:
- do we need to blur logos? Pretty sure we do, but are they very picky on logos for videos?
- any good stock videos advice site someone would recommend?
Any video advices would be appreciated anyway.
Thanks a lot!

« on: December 02, 2013, 14:36 »
Does anyone know if it's possible to edit an image while it's on the pending line (not the keywords but the actual image)? I need to remove a logo (that I didn't see) and don't want to loose all these waiting days. Thanks!
