Thank you very much :D
Now, do you usually need to give a copy to the model?

Does someone know about a model release that every single agency will accept ???
Thanks!

Awesome  :D
Actually, the thing that is good with fotolia is that the categories you already have submitted are showing on the side and you can then choose from your own choice. This might be a new feature, but it helps!

Thank you for your help!

Very good to know as the menus are not super-friendly to me. Imagine entering 150 images to 5 companies and dealing with menus. A good strain on your eyes!

Thank you!

Well, I guess, there is no way around it.... Maybe uploading images per packages of the same theme to make it a little bit easier... I found it annoying to have to go through the drop-down menu (it would be easier to have all the wording on a listing on the side)... In my opinion...

Enjoy the beer!

Hello,
Is there any trick to go fast on the process of choosing categories? I found it very time consuming and would like to know if someone has found an little magic wand or something.

Thank you.

So you "copy and paste" always keywords list and description? What about if you are submitting 200 files to 4 companies? That consumes a lot of time. I'm new and very puzzled to find an easy way not to spend 12h/day working on copy and paste...

Newbie Discussion / CanStock new upload question
« on: February 11, 2009, 17:45 »
Okay, I'm new... bear with me...

Nothing is explained clearly. I am uploading my files with IPTC data to CanStock. Now there is something that I am puzzled with:

There are 2 checkmarks underneath the button "Process Files":
- Auto Keywords
- Auto Categories

Is it going to be conflicting with the IPTC or not. I don't know what to do here????
Thanks!

Thanks for the info. There are going to release a new version for Mac, right now I can't download it.

Does it mean that I have to 're-cut and copy' all the data into DeepMeta image per image?

Do the IPTC info read by ALL the stock agencies? That would be ideal!
I found some people having problems with istockphoto who doesn't read their metadata... hummm ???

Yes, good idea, I was also wondering if the stocks let you insert your personal information without problem.... but I guess it's okay since you see the photographers sites.

Thank you!

In your IPTC data, do you put more info than these 3:

- Description
- Keywords
- Title

Do you recommend to add other info?
I am completely new at this!

Thank you.

Thank you to both of you! It helps, I have a lot of work to do to now....  :-\
Is Irfanview better than Bridge/Photoshop CS3?

Tell me noooo

Yes, I saw them now. I had 48 images.
I put the keywords and description and everything on the first one and submit. When I reopened the image, all of the info were gone... I don't know what happened, I am waiting for their tech support.

I am wondering now if I have to upload an agreement for EACH one.... even if there is no model release to give?

Newbie Discussion / A keyword question
« on: February 10, 2009, 13:49 »
How do you all handle the keyword management. Do you have to each time "copy and paste" all the info into each stock agency or is there a way that the keywords, file name and description are embedded in the file?

For example, if we insert the keywords and all info into Bridge CS3 in the IPTC Core, isn't it uploaded and recognized by the stock agencies? Or do we still have to copy and paste every time?

Thanks!

Newbie Discussion / CanStockPhoto question
« on: February 10, 2009, 12:38 »
I am new at this, and would like to understand. I have been accepted to upload to CanStock and have FTP my images. Now I don't find anywhere where to put the keywords or anything. There is nothing about my uploads under "My Account". I am very puzzled...

Anybody knows????
Thank you!
