Hi, Any illustrators on 123RF? How do you do there compared to Istock? Do vectors and illustrations sell better than photos there? I have a contributor account, only sent a handful of files, and kept wondering if I should send in more.

Hey guys... I was just checking the top searches...and something caught my eye.. http://submit.shutterstock.com/top100kw.mhtmlI see some weird keyword searches there...and some keywords that don't make sense.... It made me wonder...how do they come up with these keywords??? I though that to be a top 100 keyword it would have to be searched by many people... and there are some keywords that are not generic at all...

How easy or difficult is to delete an image?
On other sites, like shutter, and stock, I can delete easily...even on can stock... however, I don't know about 123RF, and I am wondering what are their terms for deletion.... I know some agencies will require the image to stay for like six months...

I was looking at the option to upload an image as "exclusive". Are there benefits? Would these images be out of subs schemes, would they command a higher price or maybe better placement in the search? just wondering here.

Hi guys, does anyone gets cheque instead of paypal from them? I am waiting for a payment from last month. It appears checks go out in the 15th, is what the email notifying payments says....Not sure if that is when they write a check or actually mail a check. In any case....
I'm wondering if takes a few weeks to get that in the mail?

How do you request a payout ? Or is this an automatic payout according to the MInimum Payout limit noted in the account information? Just asking because I can't remember...

Anyone doing cartoon character illustrations?
I'm going to take a break from freelancing... and if I have any client who asks if I know someone doing illustration and graphic design I can always indicate other people.

Hi guys, Just wondering whatever happened to Adobe regarding those compromised accounts. I only got the email and nothing else. I asked the support how could I know if my credit card info was compromised...they said they were in the process of sending letters by mail I think this is what I understood...
I didn't sign up for the Cloud, just purchased updates through the site, so I don't know. But it has been a while since it all happened. But I'm curious...Wondering if anyone got letters in the mail after the incident.

Hi, I would like to do some cleanup on my portfolio, some ugly old images that need to go....
On istock is easier to deactivate by image, but I can't figure out how to do it on Shutterstock.

Hi guys, I was wondering if any of you have cards there and what has been your experience. Are sales comparable to microstock or zazzle? I have some artwork on zazzle, and I kinda like the way there's always sales there.

HI guys, I tried to change my email. So I login in the account, and I change the email. I get an email for confirmation that says:
" Please confirm the Fotolia account you recently created by clicking this link....". and "...Once confirmed, you will have full access to Fotolia's..." so on and so forth , like they are welcoming a new account...
Okay, thats weird they use the words "recently created", and I'm a contributor for a few years, is not like it was yesterday? is that the canned message they use for contributors? Have you ever changed your email there?
Another thing that suprises me is that the SS numbers shows in full...I wish they changed that.

Hi guys, I rarely log into the account since I only have about 160 illustrations. I lost my login info and I'm having trouble with the site password recovering page. I have been trying and is not working for me.
I don't remember if I changed email, but I tried with a bunch of emails I have, the funny thing is that each time the recovery window says " the login info has been sent to your email".... to all of the emails...
Is there any other password recovery system for contributors? I'm using the generic login window...

Hi guys, I think I'm going to close some accounts, where I'm not making money and I can not keep up with uploading. If you decide to close the account, how does it work?
I have some "coffee money" in unpaid earnings, I think not even enough to request a payout...f I close, they keep the unpaid earnings correct?
I guess this is how it works in all agencies, correct? If you close the account you don't get to receive the money left in there?

Does DT send 1099s if you made less than $200? Did anyone received the forms already?

I'm new on 123rf, and I noticed that there is an option for the API partner sales.
If possible, I'd like to have an idea of who the partners are, and what is displayed on them...our nickname/pseudonym or the contributor's full name?

There is a discussion going on on their forum in the "create products" section about the use of clipart on products. Is amazing how people fail to read or understand licenses....and how some want to use clipart in the wrong ways...It doesn't surprise me. As far as I know ...most microstock sites don't allow POD.

I'm having a problem and I can't find or I simply don't know how to locate my images in the marketplace.. I can see their sku numbers in my dashboard, but nothing comes up if I use the number.
It has been a while since I noticed that. My illustrations used to be JPG, as at the time I think they were not accepting EPS. I also noticed that all contributors member pages have a link to their roaylty free illustrations, but my page doesn't have that.
I don't know ...already contacted support two days ago, but no answer.

Hi, does anyone get requests for custom illustrations or to freelance? What has your experience been? I noticed that in the past some microstock artists would put in their profile that they accept custom work...But as time went by I noticed most of them took that out as their portfolios grew larger. Maybe there is that point where you'd need to dedicate to one or another..
so where are you? Growing your porftolio v. freelancing work?
