Off Topic / Has Sean Locke expanded his Micro Empire?
« on: June 21, 2011, 11:46 »
Is this a Pen Name for Micro priced ebooks?  :D

"Amazon.com announced Monday that thriller writer John Locke, whose books are released through the online retailer's Kindle Direct Publishing, has sold just over 1 million e-books, many of them priced at 99 cents."

Maybe have a peek at Hostgator.

Jeeeeeez. I live in Tennessee too.  ::)

Would this cover Editorial? If so... the News stations are causing me distress by showing images of companies closing their doors around here. Don't want to see stories about Damaging Storms either.

Anything British.

Just kidding. You never know what will sell there. Since Measures is back up and running, you can look at what people are searching for. My first sale there was just a garden hose rolled up beside a house. Got $60 (my cut) for textbook image. That shot would have never ever made it to a Micro site.

Best guess would be Calvin Klein Jeans. They use 3 word markings like that.

We are not out of the woods yet. It was a Spiritual Rapture on the 21st. You just cannot see things like that ya know. We are in the 5 months of Hell on Earth and the world, Universe and Everything will cease to exist on Oct. 21, 2011.

I always wonder what the people who predict the end of the world on a particular date do when it doesn't happen.

Apparently write another book and make a new prediction. Thats what Camper did after 1994.

Well, had the camera ready but I didn't see anyone float away. The ground had a vibration but I solved that with Gas-X.

If I had only gotten a payout in time, I could have bought a bunch of cheap blow up doll, filled them with helium and release them into the air at 6 pm EST.

Trying to get on Familyradio.com is near impossible now. LMAO! Thats the radio station that is supposed to be broadcasting the rapture I guess.

Anyone speak to any Aussies to know how their rapture is going?

I have a Valid Question.

Would we still need a Model Release on those people getting Raptured and floating up to Heaven? I am charging up the Camera Battery now.

Looks like there is officially a total oversaturation of everything you can / can't think of, that has to do with imagery. I'm taking up woodcarving.

Want my referral link to Etsy  :D

Mine has been pretty level. I would like a pick up a little, so I can make payout on this month. $8 off of it.

I use Mpix for singles and WHCC for Mutiples..price wise. Both's quality is great.

I am guessing a ND filter would help.

If you're going to mess around with the hTML code I would suggest copy and pasting the original code into word...so if when you make changes it screws up you can always go back and copy the original code from word back into Zazzle.

Css is a little different animal than html. I actually did not save on the first store. I verified the code and showed errors. I backed out and it saved it somehow. Now you can do nothing with it.

Wait.. was going to link to show you but it fixed itself to basic CSS setting. It's useable now. OK.

I might make a better header for the iZone store in Xara.

Oh..lemme go look then.

Yea.. if you dont know CSS, dont mess with the advanced part. No Help and No Support there. Thats why I had a private store to play with..well now 2...lol.

Edit: I saw that spot before. I want to use the "Linoleum" Zazzle "Choose a theme" with my Header though. Can't do that there.

Second edit: I guess I will be happy with this look. Not what I envisioned but it will work.

Header, the 900 x 100 pix image. I did a sandbox store and screwed up the CSS. Now I cannot get it so do anything with appearance. Guess you cannot delete the store either.

Opened another Sandbox store and was trying to do background image and header image. Went to validate the code and kept getting errors. Note: I was copying and pasting from something in the Zazzle forum.

I never was much of a coder for anything outside of regular HTML. Never could wrap my head around it. Java Script, Cold Fusion, Python.. I have tried.
