I know is hard to instantly shut down one's iStock account. There is a lot of work in it. Regards, Dmitry
Apparently it's not difficult at all. You just write to Support and ask for your account to be closed and to receive any monies due to you. If your portfolio is quite small, you could even just delete your images manually if you don't want to wait until Support do it for you.
Yup, contacted Supprt last Oct or Nov (maybe) to shut down and payout my account. That was one thing they did flawlessly.

I can depend on your own definition of the word. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Professional"Definition Main criteria for professional include the following: A professional is a person that is paid for what they do. Qualifications have little to do with being a professional as the world's "oldest profession" is strictly a monetary gain career. An amateur maybe more qualified than a professional but they are not paid, thus they are an amateur."

I would not even give it a second thought. All the time that blog has been up...it still has zero followers. My new blog with 5 post has 4 followers at least. Plus I dont know what I am doing with blogging.

Maybe someone could query over there how they could be so blatantly wrong in claiming to be able to give exclusivity to someone.
Paulcowan is asking that question Sean. "Is the SR-EL a joke, too? Because you can't sell exclusive usage rights to an image if it has already been sold RF. It's a complete contradiction and is absolutely different from selling the copyright."

I just did my first tutorial on how I make Homemade Soap the Hot Process way in a Crock Pot. Never used Instructables before but I think it came out ok. Yes I mention my website in it because I am also hoping to drive some type of customer traffic to the store. On Etsy, you got to drive the traffic if you really want to sell. But, someone may gain info out of it. I think Soap Making is kinda neat. http://www.instructables.com/id/Handmade-Hot-Process-Soap/

You could also make $16,500 a day teaching photography. Seriously though... you come into a MS Forum this way and expect us to "see the light" or something.

This might sound cold but He knew what the risk of going was. Even in "friendly" Saudi Arabia.. the possibility is high for an American to get grabbed and used as bait or video display.
No it isn't. Where did you get that idea from?
A cousin of mine. He got back from that region not too long ago. Military with certain clearances and gets certain briefings. That's about as clear as I will get with it. When I was in Berlin, My Unit dealt with sensitive security stuff. We had briefings and alerts that others did not know about.. even the others at the site we worked. Comes down to the old line of "Need to know". Just like I am sure we did not get told what others were getting briefed on because it did not deal with security. That stuff had us drawing down on some Brit. Soldiers on an Exercise because they did not inform us. Anyways.. there ya go.

Like those people who recently sailed into Somali waters and were captured / killed by the Pirates. They knew what could happen but decided to go anyways.
Those America / British Photo Journalist, I have to give it to them. They have bigger and brassier ones than I going in armed with only a camera. My Military background says bring weapons too.

The Earth's core will freeze and it will start raining exploding hamsters. Just a guess, but I'd say not much will happen other than your portfolio will stop growing.
Oh I hope not. We just had our new Hamster for 3 weeks now and I am getting ready to train her as a Stock Model. Dont need her exploding on me! Keep uploading for Gigits sake!

@LSD72 I'd like to get my Etsy shop and my Zibbet shop going but where we live the closest post office is in the next towns either west or east. We don't have one for some reason.
If you get mail delivered to your home, you can print off first class postage within paypal. I just found that out. Used to be just Priority Mail. Print it, tape it to the package and hand it over to your mail man or you can schedule a pick up too. Only restriction is the weight. Over a certain weight has to go across the counter at the post office. They even told us we could get shipping boxes and stuff mailed to us all for free. Have not checked it out yet but apparently you can go to usps.com and create an account and order the stuff. Will look into that in a day or two.
