Just curious does the layout actually break in IE8 or the margins just noticeably different?
I recently upgraded IE from version 8 to 10, but I had the same issue previously. If I remember correctly, the left and right margins are larger in IE8, which only displays four images in a row for the widgets (as opposed to six images in a row for all of the other browsers).

The next release of Symbiostock will allow you to launch two versions of your site - One for Internet Explorer, and one for Netscape Navigator.
Also we hope to include more animated GIF icons, banners, and stuff like that.
Internet explorer's always played by its own rules... so it keeps things fun for designers.
Thanks for the links Amanda According to my stats on Google Analytics, 8% of my visitors use IE (4% on IE8). It seems that there's an auto margin problem with Internet Explorer I looked at the style.css file in order to specify margins values for page content but I didn't succed in identifying the lines concerned. An idea Leo ?

I realize that my site (and others symbiostock sites) margins on IE 8 were totally differents with what I get on chrome and firefox.
Is there a solution to solve this issue ?

Hi, You must go to Cpanel on bluehost and select Software/ service/ --> Php config. For me, my config was PHP 5.2 (Single php.ini)with imagemagick and magicwand options selected. Hope it can help you .

Woohooo, I finally found the solution  I checked single php.ini mode (PHP 5.2 (Single php.ini)) from the php config icon in the cpanel on bluehost I was previously on PHP 5.2 (Default) And imagemagick appeared !!! Thanks a lot for your help.

I was using imagemagick extension for image processing before 2.5.5 udpdate and I realize now that I'm back to GD library. I'm on bluehost, I verified my php.ini file and the line extension=imagick.so is always here  can anybody tell me how to go back to ImageMagick ?
