It depends on what you mean by '3D toons'. You might have a look at Poser/DAZStudio, it might be what you are looking for.

I'm bringing this back to life as I have not found what I'm looking for.
Been in hospital for awhile.

I need to find a 3d program for dummies. A basic program for Mac that someone with brain fog could use to learn the basic. Simplicity and lots of basic tutorials is what I need.

Any feedback appreciated.

Swift 3d exports as eps. I think either Anime or Manga studio can do it also.
I know it's not direct for 3D max but I'm mac.

Hope this helps.

Sorry, I know this is a dead thread, but I have a related question: is Clipartof still accepting new illustrators? Looks like an interesting site, but I don't see a link to join as a contributor.

I think they are interested in 3D work.

I know what they are looking for.

Well, vectors is what I do.
Here's the link to my SS folio with just the vectors: http://tinyurl.com/ybw347z
Take a look and if you think they're good enough can you please tell Jamie to give me an e-mail if she's still interested?
Thanks.

I saw it, she saw it. I would contact here ans see what she wants.
She is being very selective.

Sorry but I don't change my style....I could adjust topic wise but not my style.
It's the same if I asked you to change your style.

Sorry, topic is what I meant.

Although I can do a variety of styles. I could create any style at clipartof with the exception of 3D
 Take a look http://www.dennisholmesdesigns.com

All the art should be up now.

Last month was quiet but this month is booming.

Jamie is looking for more artists. http://www.clipartof.com
3d and vector only, prefer American artists. must be able to take Paypal!
Looking for artists that do not have similar styles to those she already has.

She is also going to contact existing artists requesting specific work from what I've heard.

For those that have just got their work uploaded it takes awhile for the work to be picked up by google, once that happens sales should be good.

Cheers
Dennis

HMMM no sales so far for me with almost 200 online.

Try some other styles...as Jamie what she wants?

Don't know what's up there.

You need a 3d program that can render out to vector format.

Can you recommend one?

Heh, I mailed Jamie a few weeks ago but she said they're no longer accepting vector artists. Something opened up? Dennis, if you'd like, take a peek in my shutterstock folio and if you think my style you don't already have, gimme a message(or give Jamie a message).

See what I can do. If she thinks it duplicates another artist, purhaps you could ask what she wants?

I've emailed Jamie several times since Dennis brought this site to our attention, no reply, nothing, nada, not even a polite rejection note.

She is looking at the moment. Try emailing from another account.

Clipartof.com is a great place.
They are looking for artists - 3D and vector only.
They would prefer American artist at the moment
But you MUST be able to except Paypal.

I have made $706 so far this month :)

Good luck, Dennis

Leaf, there are allot of Indian companies that would do this cheaply.

If your wife can learn how to draw for autotrace she would find illustrator very easy.

EG hand draw the image, scan in photoshop auto trace in something similar to adobe streamline and simply colour it in Illustrator.

Hope this helps

I have no iddea just thought it was another option.
Nothing can stop anyone from copying their work....unless they are exceptional.

Is anyone gonna pay for that, when they can print the thumbnail and use as a stencil?  How will they prevent that?    The customers are privates, right? Not designers or companies.
I hope you can't find any models.

I would more likely want to build up my own site with my own images and promoting that site to have a 100% commission.

Go for it....please. Clipartof is not like the other sites you contribute to. Nobody asked anything from you other than positive advice.

Strange that Photocase ranking is low.....
I have only a few images on line 5 or 6 and the sales are better than most higher ranking agencies were I have over 500 images on line....
